Algebra I on Khan Academy: Algebra is the language through which we describe patterns. Think of it as a shorthand, of sorts. As opposed to having to do something over and over again, algebra gives you a simple way to express that repetitive process. It's also seen as a "gatekeeper" subject. Once you achieve an understanding of algebra, the higher-level math subjects become accessible to you. Without it, it's impossible to move forward. It's used by people with lots of different jobs, like carpentry, engineering, and fashion design. In these tutorials, we'll cover a lot of ground. Some of the topics include linear equations, linear inequalities, linear functions, systems of equations, factoring expressions, quadratic expressions, exponents, functions, and ratios.
About Khan Academy: Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Our math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We've also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.

this helped so much. poor squirrel tho.
Holy shit, what a morbid question. That poor squirrel never had a chance.
poor squirrel. Anyway, these types of problems are maddening and for some reason I cannot grasp this concept..

I can understand the concept I just have trouble applying it to other problems as they are usually drastically different.
Hate to point out potential flaws in this problem. The general math is dead on. However, consider the following: It figures that the road is a single lane road since it's only 9 feet across. The car and the squirrel are trying to get past a certain point. The squirrel has .75 seconds, the car has .5 seconds. The car will arrive at the point first, traveling 100 feet per second, the car will continue another 25 feet by the time the squirrel gets to that exact same point. Unless the car is unusually long, the squirrel will, in fact, make it across the road just fine by going behind the car.

i did the math the squirrel would not be able to cross the rode but the car is moving fast engough that the squirrel bieng shorter than normal becasue the crawl while running would fit underneath the car as it went over it wissing the tires by aboout a foot so the squirell would be scared but fine

RIP Squirrel
this is where i became the weakest, the foolest and the most stupid student in class. when it comes to ANALYZING PROBLEM. even though ur explanations are clear. i still cant understand even if i try so hard :'((((((
I'm sorry mr squirrel but maths is maths :.(
damm sal, why couldn't you let the squirrel live
these are the helpest school ever
This doesn't help with the khan academy lesson it was paired with, like at all.

thank you so much sir :)
Answer this question for me, please, is a head scratcher: 1.0 cubic centimetre (cm^3) of a solution contains 0.010g of salt. What is the mass of salt contained in 1 cubic decimetre (dm^3) of the same solution? Textbook says 10g but I disagree, my answer is 0.1g Which answer is correct and Why??? Cheers
this is hepful
Anyone have the squirrel's obituary? I gotta show it to my math teacher
Is this a one-lane road? The results in real life seem to depend upon which lane the car is driving in and which side of the road the squirrel starts to cross from! It might be that the squirrel could make it across if the squirrel started on the SAME side of the road as the lane where the car is driving. Maybe by some miracle the squirrel could dodge that drivers-side tire! Any thoughts?
Also poor squirrel
the squirrel doesn't die
stupid driver lol he did not see the freakin squirrel
this is so sad...
Me:😢😭😭😭😭😭😭
i'm not worded about the squirrel is the math i dont get it dose not mach what i'm learning (oh and dont be afened)
