Join the Xfly crew Captain Jaanus Orusalu and First Officer Rauno Tillmann for a multi-camera cockpit flight on board the Bombardier CRJ-900 operated for Nordica airline. Departure takes place on a slightly thunderstormy day from the very cosy Tallinn Lennart Meri airport in Estonia and goes all the way to Berlin Tegel, Germany. Includes also some preflight procedures with walkaround!

CRJs are a bit challenging to fly! I have lots of respect for them as I have seen people fly them in MSFS. Much more challenging than flying a Airbus or Boeing!

@@standolNo VNAV, no auto throttle, no fancy manual switching from the NAV to ILS, the CRJ is quite a bit more hands on than any airbus or modern Boeing jet.

Hello pilots of this beautiful CRJ-900 aircraft. Very nice video and above all very informative. I do the same with my CRJ-700 but in ** FlightSimulator 2020 ** it's almost the same except you it's real. It's really nice to watch your videos for people who are passionate about aviation. Are the engines considered stable when N2 reaches fifty percent or when N1 reaches 20 percent? I know this video is 3 years old... but I thought I'd try any way.

Both. N2 50% will come shortly before N1 20%, at which point start is successful.

Never loved the Aerosoft CRJ, cockpit was like a cave with small instruments and limited visibility. Just never seem to translate well into the sim.
