    have you guys noticed that at the start everybody's milling about and chatting, and then, slowly but surely, it all falls to a dead silence with everybody mesmerised. This is heart stopping music.

    I was fortunate to be with Mulgrew Miller the whole week at The Conservatory in Tel Aviv together with my students and good I had my little camera with me. We miss Mulgrew and his music.

    WHILE IN MSU, I WANTED TO MAJOR IN MUSIC AND PIANO . BUT SINCE MY PASSION WAS IN ELECTRONICS, I STILL KEEP MY MIND ON MUSIC AND PIANO. THEN, I MET MULGREW MILLER MULGREW MILLER MET AT MEMPHIS STATE UNIVERSITY IN THE 1970'S I WAS PURSUING A BACHELOR DEGREE IN ELECTRONIC ENGINEER MULGREW MILLER TAUGHT ME MY 1ST PIANO LESSON "YOU ARE THE SUNSHINE OF MY LIFE". WE WERE IN A PRACTICE PIANO ROOM. AT MEMPHIS STATE UNIVERSITY AND MULGREW MILLER INVITED ME IN.. SO I STARTED COMING BY THE PRACTICE PIANO ROOM ON A REGULAR BASIS I BOUGHT A STEVIE COMPOSITION "YOU ARE THE SUNSHINE OF MY LIFE". I PUT THE MUSIC BEFORE HIM AND WOW! HE PLAYED LIKE HE OWNED IT I DIDN'T KNOW HOW MULGREW MILLER WOULD BECOME A GREAT JAZZ ARTIST I WAS IN FORT WORTH AT A JAZZ CLUB AND MET BETTY CARTER MULGREW MILLER PLAYED JAZZ FOR BETTY CARTER.

    It's funny that this is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard and he is simply playing in a practice room for some students. Gift from God.

    KZread is a wonderful resource. It brings so much into our lives. This would have never been heard otherwise. Great tune played with feeling. I love this, this is what the piano is about for me. June 85 to present, I'm still getting there. This sort of thing is what it's about.

    m hampton M. Miller once he's up and running has more modern less diatonic tendencies although there's still that same Tatum thing present.

    I remember when i ate a brownie, if u catch my drift and then i began to listen to his music. It almost mase me think of a lazer show, to get to the point it made me go retarded. I was soo baffled, by this mans music.

    Ask Sean Wilson Piano he could do it in an hour he's crazy at transcribing the Greats no matter the difficulty.

    I love the sound, but it feels like he is improvising. It’s like a 4x4 truck off road. Constantly struggling. Doesn’t sound super fluid.
