Mule Team Wagon Ride - Eastern Tennessee
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
A pair of mules, Daisey and Blondie, pulling a homemade six wheeled wagon on some scenic mountain roads in eastern Tennessee. The wagon uses VW axle assemblies with both the front and rear axles able to steer. The rear axle is more of a passive steering axle that helps reduce binding in tight turns, and allows the wagon to pivot freely on the mid/rear axle. The wagon has six comfortable automotive seats that fully recline. A foot brake helps control the wagon and is also used for parking. It's a great way to get out in nature, and enjoy the great outdoors.

Very well trained. Nice work.
He really knows how to treat and train his mules , very nice video !
Beautiful! Impressive mules! I am pleased that the driver has trained Daisey and Blondie to work off of calm, placid voice commands, not a whip in sight, no yanking. Truly beautiful, both mules and scenery. I appreciate your detailed description of the wagon's construction, but would add that it isn't a "train", that a wagon train means one wagon following another. :) Thank you for sharing this. :)

Thank you for your nice comment. You are so correct about the incorrect use of the work 'train'. I've made the omission in the video description :-)
Wish I was there! would love that ride!!!!!
I thoroughly enjoyed watching the mules' ears. I've only had one mule in my life and I know that a good mule is worth its weight in gold.
Nice day for it.
Beautiful animals!
Thats cool
Nice Mules
This man lives not far from me and he is a mule man for sure
Mules Are Awesome!

@violetopia ~ It sure is especially beautiful right now with the changing of the leaves. It's our pleasure to post this video, glad that you enjoyed it.

Matthew Greenwood what county is this?
@torr71 ~ It's an official mountain chariot for traveling the back roads of Eastern Tennessee. It's also a nice way to slow down the tempo of life.
@coffeefish ~ your exactly right! ~ perfect air temp and fall leaves, can't beat that!
This is my father in law , Paul Hill, He loves to make wagons and break mules

Are whips involved in " breaking" mules?
It's like they are together like the two horses, Black Beauty and Ginger in the movie Black Beauty.
I know that place! We got a ride one one of Pauls wagons on a wagon train ride through the mountains last year.
I would like to have the black mule, it match's perfect to my 5 year old..I need a same color working mate..we have tractors & bulldozers but we prefer a mule working over a tractor any day, not to mention a mule will live longer if its worked

Would you share why you prefer a mule working over a tractor? ( I know my thoughts on the subject, but would love to hear yours. Thanks!)

I mean the mules.
I am in the East Tennessee area and was wondering if you trained your mules yourself or had them trained? I recently bought a team of 2 year olds that are easy to handle, but haven't been worked with other than gentling and am checking out trainers in the area. Any info would be appreciated.
How can I get a hold of Paul?
What is this Fer....
