When I was new to gardening, I wish I'd had this video. I never found a nice, short explanation like this.

I like it when people are very detailed but not long and drawn out.

I used our cedar trees dropped leaves as a bit of mulch for our garden when I ran out of the natural untreated mulch, and wanted to cover some areas that didn’t have enough coverage, sure smells great!

Hi!!! I live just west of Washington and I love your videos by the way. I was just wondering where do you get your compost?

I mulch with kitchen scraps so it works as a mulch and compost.

I use compost cow manure and mushroom soil in my gardens. Mulch here in south Florida causes ants. So I don't use mulch much here

Say you don't live in the PNW without saying you dont live in rhe PNW. We need to mulch deep here with all of our rain or it doesnt stop any weeds.

How do I make compost with those tumbler machines that make it? I’ve tried placing all my dead plants and veg into an area with dirt to breakdown but it still hasn’t. What else do I need to do to make it into compost for my garden?

If I’m going to buy either one (or both), what’s the best kind? And where do I get it?
