I feel that DEEPLY when they spoke about not calling it "spoiled", but giving your child the best childhood you can. My parents both grew up in South Side Chicago. They had *nothing* as children. When me and my siblings were little we never went without. My mom, who never smiled in photos because of her teeth, got all 3 of us braces when we were young. She got braces herself just a few years ago, but she put us before her :') I'll probably be the same to my children- they're you're whole world.

I agree with what you two were saying about being spoiled. You can have a lot and still not act "spoiled". It's when parents do absolutely everything for their child and not have them develop a work ethic/think everything will be handed to them when they become spoiled. I remember when Parker was talking about how (in the future) Cove will do chores to get an allowance and stuff and so I feel like that's the difference between someone who grows up with a lot vs someone who is spoiled haha
