Haider Ali Gillani is a straightforward person who has integrity of humanity and compassion for others. As someone who am close to the Gillani family, I felt so much pain and sadness during his captivity for three years. Almighty Allah may keep him blessed ever with peace and happiness. Admittedly, his words are so precious to us that we are grateful to him for sharing his experiences with the audience who are listening to him. Actually, his trust in the Almighty Allah is his greatest asset and he faced his three years in captivity in detention with the help and support of his hope in Allah which is the most powerful gift that he has received from the Lord Almighty Allah. During his abduction, once it so happened that i could not help weeping when I discussed his whereabouts with his father in Islamabad. There, i found Syed Yousuf f Raza Gillani completely composed and felt that the driving force behind his confidence was his reliance on Allah as supported by strength of his patience plus dependence on hope.This was what I personally observed during brief conversation on Syed Haider Ali Gillani.
