I always considered this song written by Late Faiz Ahmed Faiz as too romantic and never bothered to listen to it past the first few verses. That was until last night when I listened to the 2nd part. What a subliminal revolutionary message against tyranny and social injustice. A classic in Urdu Poetry.

Kashif Naveed.. What a voice he has. He sang this Nazam best among all other singers. My favourite ❤❤❤

My first time: I had put it on my laptop and earphones on and closed my eyes. As the lines progressed, they flung me to a world of peace and tranquility. And i could see her in all merry staring at me like in her video calls. Long distance is tough but it really felt like she was here with me. My mind played an endless movie of us staring at each other, smiling, blushing, giggling and praying for time to pass faster and the long distance to end, and for time to pause and this moment be frozen forever. Thank you, Faiz Ahmad Faiz. You made me a memory I will cherish forever.

I remember when he was singing,he record video for me...(he was in black suit in the department with his friends) "mujh se pehli si muhbbat mere mehboob na mang" Then I listened his video again ND again without any reason, At that time I was not sure that sentence "Teri aankho k siwa ,Dunia me Rakha Kia hai" But Today I feel this sentence, Difference is that now I am with my husband and don't know where he is,........ Missing you.......
