Mui Wo on Lantau Island - Almost Awesome 大嶼山 梅窩 幾乎完美
Mui Wo on the east coast of Lantau is something of a backwater, but with small villages, beach, waterfalls and other natural attractions there's plenty to make it a good place to live and visit.
And with potential for enhancements like a wetland nature reserve, it could become even better.

such a nice place.been there last december 2018 for a hike.
been there last december 2018 .... kinda cold but that sunrise on the beach before i head back to the airport to saudi arabia.... one in a million view of a lifetime.... thank you mui wo.... hope to see you again someday....

Since I was a 8 year old kid back in good old days in 1961, Mui Wo, and Lantau Island was my best playground until the day the Hong Kong Government decided to develop ( destroy ) this paradise in Hong Kong. It's sad ! Thus I left HK in early 70s'.

HK people need a real democratic political system. Otherwise every piece of land with natural beauty will be destroyed by the government and big businesses.
