I was working in the drive thru at a McDonald's one night in Denver in the mid 1980's and Muhammad Ali's driver brought Mr. Ali through. I gave them their order and Mr. Ali leaned forward in the passenger seat and waved his right fist. His fist looked like a cannon ball and he had a playful, serious look on his face. He was a big guy.

Dear Lucy Girl- Yes, I knew if we stuck with it, we would find areas of agreement- Muhammad is my biggest hero, too! I think people who had any contact with Ali - no matter how slight- consider those moments to be some of the greatest of their lives, and they just want to share their joy. He talks about Muhammad signing 2,000 autographs; I bet the majority of those 2,000 people have been talking about the time they got Muhammad Ali's autograph ever since.
