I met Muhammad Ali as a teenager in Cherry Hill, NJ back in the 70's. Never forget how nice he was to 5 young kids who he came out of his house to meet in his driveway and talked with us for several minutes. Shook his hand. Absolutely THE GREATEST!

Greatest Man of the 20 th and 21st century in the East and West , North and South .His life is royal and noble . A lesson of goodness for centuries to come . He repelled EVIL with that which is GOOD . And just as the Quran says when you repel evil with that which is good tour worst enemy becomes your best friend . That is what exactly Mohammad Ali did . CONVERTED his enemies to best friends

Ali would say all kind of NASTY stuffs to promote the fights which was understandable. But after the fights, he would not do anything but heaved praises on his opponents for their courage. Ali was a class act and that was the reason that he was well loved.

@@stevostevo5032 i love Ali but what you said is not true. Check out the long interview he done to talk about his whole caeer, it was after his retirement on youtube in 79 ( there was nothing to sell at this time ). He kept all the interview mocking his old opponents all the way ( Norton, Frazier, froman, spinks and even Holmes that he would fight one year later ). Once again, i love Ali but facts are facts.

enjoyed TONY DANZA's routine so much had to watch twice! and the genius BILLY C.'s impersonations summarizing Ali. sweet intelligent RAVEN.. the VAIN Diana ross had to make her infamous exit acts to be the last 'star' remembered of the event. oh well, always one to put a damper. the ever classy SUGAR RAY, but i have to say HIS DAUGHTER topped all; sweetest tribute to her dad! good show. LOVE YOU ALI! the Greatest ENTERTAINER!

Ali was a great man . Mr. Ali was spectacular to watch, and he did a lot for the people, he can't be the Greatest. Except in our lifetime. But what about the fighters that have internet, that fought over a hundred rounds. They are the greatest. The endurance punishment and pain. Not taking anything from our greatest, Ali. My greatest was Iron Mike. I'm no tryin to say nothing bad about Ali, just the hundred or more round fighters, that came before.
