However, under Mugabe's brutal rule, the Chinese, the Arabs and the Russians were given vast concessions for gold and diamonds in exchange for money, weapons and protection. In essence, he talked a good game about Pan-Africanism and colonization, while he was selling it and robbing from the country. One day we will get our freedom from these oppressors in black skin. Whatever President Mugabe did was in the interest of his people not foreigners like many of the African heads of state. Mugabe has played his part and all African leaders should emulate him, he's a role model. As usual you cannot please all but at least he did a great job. I am a Ugandan but I admired Mugabe. Zimbabwe was one of the only African countries, with a great potential to become one of the richest countries of the continent. And look at what it is today. I love Zimbabwe and the Zimbabweans, but they deserved a honest and caring leader. Not someone who was just good for himself.
