I've looked at all the verses and hadith pertaining to the issue and looked into history and followed the different nations of the world, and it's very conclusive and convincing. The prophet said in a Hadith that the barrier was broken in his lifetime. The Hadith about them being locked and digging everyday, and the Hadith that says the breached the barrier (and the prophet held his two fingers up like a hole) have time in between. This is the nuance that simple minded Muslims can’t consider.

I have researched the subject and agree with Mualana about the scythians and the European connection but not necessarily the Mongol one... the etymological connection between Mongol and Magog is not established... In the Jewish sources Gog is the king of Magog (melekh magog) but then the tribe (descendents of Magog son of Yafeth) became to be known together with their king as Gog and Magog... They are the Scythians who Cyrus the Great (Zul qarnayn) was fighting who are the same ethnicity as the celts and the Germans... so they are the Europeans who spread corruption on the earth.. The capture of Jerusalem is also predicted in the Quran in surah anbiyaa (wa haraamun alaa qaryatin ahlaknahaa). The Qarya and its people are the Jews and Jerusalem and the people who helped them take it are the Europeans (British) who are Yajooj Majooj.. this is a quranic miracle and future prediction that came true.

Dajjal is supposed to be a jewish man, young in age , with curly hair,xtremely stocky build and a defected eye. He is supposed to be chained up on an island untill his time to be released. There is more extensive details in the sahih hadiths.

Gog and Magog could not be Chinese because you cannot blockade the Chinese by the mountain pass. They could not be from Mongolia, USA, or Europe because of geography and the population ratio of 1 to 999. Conclusion: Gog and Magog are most likely not humans, less likely humans according to the Quran.

Look at a map, the Chinese are secluded into the east by the Himalayas Mountains and could’ve only gotten to Arabia if they passed Mongolia and went in through Rome or Persia. “Khorasan” means “place of the rising” sun in Farsi, and that’s where Dhul Qarnayn traveled. Gog and Magog are human just like us. Read the Quran

For anyone that thinks “In the Islamic tradition, they are most likely not human”. This goes against all of the traditional beliefs. They are all over the Hadith literature. Ibn Kathir said Yajuj and Majuj were Turks. Abu Hurairah reported Turks (Mongols) to be people with small eyes, meaty flat faces, and shoes of hair which is the exact same description as Yajuj and Majuj. Obviously they live on earth (not under it) because the Hadith say 7/8 or 9/10 of the world is inhabited by them. These Hadith are in Kitab Al Fitan by Nuaym bin Hammad who is the teacher of Bukhairi. The fact that they have shoes of hair means that they hunt and kill animals (who live on earth not under it). The fact that they drink water (Lake Tiberius) means they are humans. The fact that they have eyes and faces means they’re human. The Hadith and Quran say that Dhul Qarnayn built a barrier between them and the rest of the world. The Hadith (in Kitab Al Fitan) that the gate was in Armenia. The earliest opinion of Dhul Qarnayn by the scholars was that it was Alexander the Great and there is a book called “The secrets of Secrets” written in ancient Syriac and translated to Arabic that describes Alexander building that wall and even the type of metal he used so the iron wouldn’t erode. It’s called “Asthenesite”. There is soooooo much more evidence for this that it’s really not even debatable at this point. People like you just don’t read and you make statements as though you’ve actually done research. And clearly you haven’t. Not to mention the Jews and Christians also know that Yajuj and Majuj (Agag and Magag in the Syriac) are humans. Brother, you are one of them. Not to mention that Muslims in Baghdad brought a mongol into the city and he died after a week and they said he was one of the Yajuj and Majuj. This was before Ghengis Khan.

Interesting but yajuj and majuj will only arrive after the emergence of ISA( pbuh) and once dajjal killed, that’s the fact. Now, if you consider monguls and all the other atrocities carried out by other people ie Hitler and currently by Israel are all part and parcel of yajuj and majuj then one has to agree these yajuj and majuj has arrived well before ISA(pbuh) and imam Mahdi which should not be the case! What I know, imam Mahdi followed by dajjal or vice versa followed by ISA( pbuh) followed by yajuj &majuj. Maybe my lack of knowledge, could some one clarify please?

Qur’an 21:95 explains of a people who were expelled, a city distraction, and the inhabitants won’t return until Yajjuj and Majjuj return. There is no city other than Jerusalem that was destroyed, inhabitants expelled, and their return is linked with return of Yajjuj and Majjuj return. Thus return of Jews in Palestine has happened, since a century ago. Thus Yajjuj and Majjuj were released. Qur’an precedes Hadith, thus we need to follow Qur’an and if Hadith contradicts Qur’an leave it.

What I understand from Islamic eschatology is that Yajuj and Majuj will come after Jesus' return. They will wipe out humans and animals, and only a few humans will be saved. The destruction will be like Noah's flood but without water. Yajuj and Majuj are intelligent but not human.

Take a look at this hadeeth: mām Bukħārī quotes in number 3348 that Allah تعالى will say to Ādam عليه السلام:- “أخرج بعث النار، قال وما بعث النار، قال من كل ألف تسعمئة وتسعة وتسعون” “Take out the share of Hell (from the people). He said “and what is the share of Hell?” He said “Nine hundred and ninety nine out of every thousand.” So, when the Ṣaḥābah showed wonder at this, the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said:- “أبشروا فإن منكم رجل ومن يأجوج ومأجوج ألف” “Be rejoiced! The single man is among you, and the thousand (almost) are from Gogs Magogs.” And then:- “ما أنتم في الناس إلا كالشعرة السوداء في جلد ثَور أبيض، أو كشعرة بيضاء في جلد ثور أسود” “You are out of the total humanity like a single black hair on the skin of a white bull, or like a single white hair on the skin of a black ox.” This Hadith is self-explanatory, and sufficient. The 999 men are from Gogs and Magogs, in whom the ratio of those who will go to Hell is very high.

Well in this sense Russia has almost equal firepower compared to US if not more, And RUSSIA can fight US, even the China can fight, and China + Russia combined can win any war in the world. This concept of Americans being yajuj majuj is completely wrong and baseless. Shiekh sahab must revise his beliefs before misleading others. Regards.

That's the issue, it's still mostly guessing from someone's world perspective. To the Americans, that's the Iranians and Russians and Chinese. 200 years ago, might have the British but then nothing happened.
