if im not mistaken yes. kena ambl ielts general. ni depends on immigration australia sdr. recently dorg mnta ielts utk lepas visa for work.

Hi I nak tanya kalau dah ada IELTS, kena ambil MUET juga ke (if nak apply Malaysia punya uni) and also petronas punya scholarship dorang ada wajibkan ambil ielts ke untuk apply scholar?? sebab not every uni dekat oversea require ielts kan? so depends?

Foreign universities would usually require the applicant's documentation of English proficiency (IELTS or TOEFL), and it's a must in postgraduate studies as the courses are instructed in English. The same goes for oversea undergraduate studies, but it depends on the language of instruction (usually -- English for the UK, the US, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand; French for France and Luxembourg; German for Germany, Switzerland, and Austria). Only MUET is accepted in Malaysia's public universities. Why not you prepare for both exams, just to gauge your level of fluency :) I find the IELTS to be more laid back and casual (you should watch their speaking tests), with native examiners to assess you.

Hi Nika! Muet for degree in Malaysia. Yes, you need to take IELTS if you want to further study in overseas university.

Akak register IELTS dekat British Council website. Kena register dulu then ambil dekat Wisma Dredging, KL 😊
