Ahoy Tide Travellers! Let's hit the foreshore to see what Old Father Thames has in store for us today. Mudlark with me on the River Thames in London at low tide, taking in the sights and sounds of old London.
We travel two thousand years from Roman Londinium to the present day, turning up lovely metal finds, ceramic potsherds and some mystery items.
Without further ado, let's get cracking!

Best quarter-hour I've spent all day. What a pleasure to spend it with you! Know you were out there longer to make this lovely video....looks like you found some real treasures, history in your hand.
Lucked out today, turned on my computer and there was your video. Great finds today Marie, thanks so much for taking the time to film, edit and upload. Have an awesome day!!
The King Charles silver coin, "M", absolutely marvelous.
Love your videos and your knowledge of the finds always makes them a pleasure to watch
Loving the longer more relaxed vlogs......just enjoy time in your company it's so interesting. Thank you x❤❤
Nice finds, Marie.😊 2 sweet buttons, a lovely coin, and I love prunts.❤
That coin was remarkable, such detail! Buttons,I have found very few,but the 4 that I have,I sewed onto my hat, that brown leather fisherman type hat that you’ve seen me wear. Given enough time,it will look like a hat belonging to a Pearly King🤣
Very interesting finds😮 congratulations 👏, greetings from Italy 🇮🇹
Always enjoy your walks along the Thames and your very knowledgeable chats about the interesting finds you unearth. Thank you.
Fantastic search on the Thames foreshore. So many fascinating things. Thank you.

Hello Marie! I love that three hole button find, it's sure on my list to be find one day. I miss the foreshore and have to wait till September. Have a wonderful day my dear friend!
Nice old finds today Marie.
I find the 3-hole button interesting as well. Sooo, I paused your vlog to line up a rabbit hole for post viewing & it took me to this: "Whistle buttons can be found in a wide variety of materials. Sew though Whistle Buttons: A term strictly used by collectors, it refers to all buttons constructed with one hole on the top and two or more holes on the back." now I've 2 rabbit holes to investigate tonight. ❤ thank you!
