I 'd like to learn muay Boran styles or even Bokator, the martial art from Camboja. The're a lot of modern muay thai gyms in Brazil, but I would rather prefer learning the old styles,cause I see the power of the strikes and the natural art in every single moviment. This martial art is very realistic and I think it can be applied when one is attacked in the street

Very polite yet very dangerous I also do muay thai it's very effective I studied under a man who went to Thailand to learn it for 15 years.

"Muay Boran" is the origin of "Muay Thai". Some people call it "Muay Thai Boran". Boran = Ancient Created for use in the ancient battles of Thailand, it can be fatal, so it is not used as a sport. But "Muay Thai" was created as a sport and modified not to be too dangerous.

@@finneire2081 Hello again Finn. I’ve not been able to find any Bokotar classes locally. However, I will attend a Muay Boran club in Bedford, which is about twenty miles away, once Lockdown is over in England. As you say, it might not be the original martial art, but, at least, I can have regular lessons, without relocating to Cambodia. Anyway, thanks for your suggestion.
