masterful display by sangmanee, the kid is getting stronger and stronger, and it seems that he learned or mastered a few new trick like the superman punch. i would never have thought that he could give a lesson to muangthai who was for me the strong man of the moment. i love both fighters, but i must reckon Sangmanee is the man right now, number one in thailand after both his victory over panpayak and muangthai.

Muangthai was out of shape. Still, great fight by Sonmanee, I like him too. What I really disliked was the way he stepped on Muangthai's corner at the end of the match. You just do not do that. Thai people know what I mean

Also compared to his other fights I thought his style greatly differed here. I just don't like how he relies too much on his chin, and takes too much damage from punches.

june I blame it to his coaches, old style muay thai mentality, totaly out of touch with modern muay thai and increasingly powerful hands by top boxers

+silbaar Ya, who can say for sure? I just sincerely hope he finds and adjusts his style because even though I love the way he fights, this fight was kind of disheartening to watch; glaringly showing his weakness to punches.

Holy damn first time i have ever Muangthai get rocked by other fighter. Only fighters with very good defense can rock Muangthai like that

Sangmanee is getting more impressive by each fight!

Perfect example of "styles making fights"!

I love it how corner Gramps uses the hoover during the fight :-) Saw it multiple times, also in other fights so far..

Can anybody help me analyze the fight by debating a little? Even if you disagree with me… I think that Muangthai is really effective in baiting teeps and establishing elbows off of hand controls and “fake” hand controls. Sangmanee was impressive in this one not only because of his peak and strength, but his game against Muangthai worked really well; the punches of kicks prevented Muangthai from countering or clinching. I see from some fights Muangthai can be caught by rear hands and rear headkicks due to his hands being occupied with establishing hand control. Sangmanee also did a nice job with his jab, establishing distance and some circling off of it or faking it to land an elbow at some point. I saw a little bit of a stance switch by the end of the fight, but I really can’t wrap my hand around the effectiveness… maybe he switched after stablishing the Jab and the lead teep feints? Even if you disagree with me harshly, please comment. Anything you can add to my analysis. I’m trying to study Muay Thai and learn

Two of my three favorites champs. Pained me to see Muangthai so overwelmed though (f*ck !! I never thought the fan system would catch me at my age)...I hope he will come stronger from this fight !

Damn, that shows how dumb Muangthai can look if you got the right strategy. Don't get me wrong, I love Muangthai, but he was walking forward and eating shots nonstop, and never cared to change that(maybe a bit when he was rocked in Round 3).
