I think Total Madness is not that bad, just the skull twist wasn’t executed well and some casting problems ( horrible players or annoying people )

Double Agents turned out to be a good season. The blowout eliminations and amount of DQs were huge drawbacks, but CT overcoming the entire house to win weighs it out. The format, production value, Final, and 80s music were huge pluses.

I think the main reason they had a lot of male eliminations in a row is because females kept leaving or getting hurt meaning there would be a male rogue agent

Can we talk about how Wes getting hit in the face with a shoe was the funniest thing in Challenge history?

I’ve thought about it an I think the best way they could have fixed the rogue agent issue is if you are rogue you don’t compete in the daily because you don’t have a partner BUT you are still vulnerable to go into elimination so you want to have a partner and have a chance at competing to control your own fate.

I think it would've been interesting but the rogue agents probably would've been targeted unfairly.

I’m probably on the minority but I really liked this season. I think it had really strong moments and great entertainment (mostly from Kyle and Devin) that the cons of this season, while definitely shine, will have trouble taking the good aspects away for me.

@Franco Bradshaw they just went for a power move too early and were unnecessarily giving ppl assurances that were obviously a lie. Then it make it easy to justify voting for them to be targeted for elims against harder players. I think if they played the middle a little longer or just told Kam she would go in period if Theresa didn’t want it they would’ve been given rookies in elims and stayed longer

i watched another challenge youtubers livestream talking about the season, and idk if you talk about this because i’m not fully done with the video. but i feel like we will never get what the challenge used to be: hook ups, fights, and seemingly easy daily challenges that require a lot more skill. and honestly i miss that. i 100% understand people are taking the challenge more seriously, but i feel like the change happened after wotw1 🤷‍♀️ idk i want new players and rookies that’ll stick and who want to win but also have fun. i also wish paramount plus would release seasons like inferno 3 and the first episode of the duel 2, because yes i want to see the ct and adam fight, and i want to watch the bad asses finally take home that win. sorry for tbe long comment i just miss the old challenge!

What I don’t get is legit ep 2 it shows the Adam CT fight.

They should have had Rogue agents be free game for being selected into eliminations. Corey shouldn't have been able to skate by for 90% of the game

I damn near cried today when I realized Leroy was apart of the last real world season I watched. Las Vegas. He's two years older than me, and I've always related to him and rooted for him more than everyone else. Him retiring has me thinking about my life since my young adulthood, where I am now, and how important it is to make the most of the moment. Time is the only thing you can't get back. This is the first day this year that I'm really emotional. I'm going to keep up with him and Kam through their patreon.

I don’t know why people hate on Kyle he is decent at physical challenges and is one of the best comedy people on the show

Producers need to take a long hard look at who they cast for The Challenge cause mate the cast this season was boring. All Stars has way less athletic ability but it is so damn entertaining. IDK maybe the challenge takes itself too seriously these days.

In my opinion my 2 favourite daily challenges is Road kill mission and smuggle run. Also my favourite elimination was Nany vs gabby just because it was evenly matched and it was very exciting when they they got 1 each.

I feel like Dustin, Theresa, Johnny Bananas, Jemmye, and others should have also said goodbye to Leroy for his goodbye messages since half of the cast saying goodbye didn’t even know him that well except for the vets

I agree. That was a major misstep by production. Since the news was out prior to filming the reunion it should’ve been pretty easy to get a hold of people and get quick goodbyes

I actually think the gold skull twist still allows for sneaky politics. Case in point is how Fessy went against Nelson. The only difference is they are politicking to go into elimination instead of avoiding it. If you don't want someone in the finals you have to either use politics to keep them out of elimination or send them against a stronger competitor. And you can politic to go against a weak team yourself to get your hold skull easier

Gotta say I love the skulls part of the game. It eliminates ALL of the heavy alliance stuff where there is literally no drama in the game. The old school episodes essentially sent people to the final without them having to put themselves at risk. I always hated that, it was too predictable.

@@ja_cow_ski hmm not exactly sure it was that per say but after years of people not even earning a spot into the finals while hiding behind alliances, I think it got to be frustrating to many people. They are always looking for a way to spice the game up and this was the best innovation they have made in years. Add this in with the amazing Final reckoning system where people that vote for you are the only ones you can go against in eliminations and whew we are cooking with grease then.

Skull has its pro and cons But hoping they could twist up skull next season limit the skulls and you cant steal skull ..or you can have more than one skull and can give it to a person you want Or skull r unpredictable you dont know in which eliminations the skulls are up for grabs .. only 4 skulls could appear in 10 eliminations or some like that

@@rediettadesse2828 or limite the number of skulls to say 5 for both male and female; then have 8 female days and 8 male days then have the finals without the cast knowing. there will be some people that go home without a skull or even a chance at a skull.

@@rediettadesse2828 I think players should be able to stack skulls not just protect them. It's a risk reward kind of thing then but obviously th a t could get tricky. Overall they seem to be doing these seasons in 3s now, aka dirty 30, vendettas, final reckoning. So I see madness free agents and the next one being similar themes. With that said I'm very sure they are gonna switch up the format after the next one. I still think final reckoning elimination was BY FAR the best though. Having to put yourself at risk to eliminate someone is beyond amazing to me

In my opinion this season was a big step up from the last two seasons but at best it’s still just a meh-ok for me. The cast sometimes made bad choices there were so many dq’s and with some of the rookies I was excited to see like Lolo didn’t do so well.

A way to fix the skulls, is that if you win two daily challenges you automatically get one, because that way it puts a target on the front runner while also making them a harder mark then some of the others

Love your videos! My biggest thing with this season is that there were so MANY medical DQs that I wonder what could have been... Also IMO I think this season has the BEST soundtrack.

Can someone explain to me why, with 10 skulls, only 8 people were in the final? Kyle and Big T got robbed from being in that final, I'm sorry, that's just some real bullshit.

Just wanted to say this I think the biggest what if of the season is what if Nany took CT as a partner leaving Kyle as a rouge agent would we have gotten CT vs Fessy in the last hall brawl and possibly could’ve had Leroy winning his first finals just a thought 🤔🤷🏾‍♂️

I think the last daily plays out differently. I think CT probably would’ve been smart enough to send Nany into the volcano and he do the puzzles. I think he’s seen enough seasons to know the partner that stays behind is usually the one competing

I think the producers have him redo some of his confessionals cause he might curse to much or they need an extra take or something. Or he's scripted

I like the idea of everyone going into elimination, however they have executed it badly. I want to see people who can handle a final be in a final, I don't want to see a bunch of "layups" who just so happen to be good at manipulation and the same old winners. I think once the 4 skulls were taken that the remaining players should have participated in some sort of battle royal and the top male and female got the skulls or even have more people being called out to fight for their skull. The twist hasn't worked because the players have found ways around it. For two seasons we've seen people basically pick their elimination and sit around until the finals.

She was thinking with heart not her mind

The best thing about this season was that one of the girls nobody really wanted for a partner ended up pretty much dominating in her part of the final and fessy sticking his foot in his mouth and at no surprise showed no heart!

I think it added more strategy to have to go into an elimination to get a gold skull. The players had to politic others to vote in someone they thought they could beat, as opposed to just saying why they shouldn’t go in.

27/36 I'm gonna assume that an upcoming video will be all 36 seasons ranked and double agents will be 27th.

This season had a lot of potential, I really liked the format with the individual but partners game at the same time, the first ep in my opinion was one of the best first episodes in the challenge, but it kinda fell flat after that. devin was great this season and was my main source of entertainment as well as Kyle, also another thing is Darrel kinda got screwed over in his elimination against Cory it wasn’t revers tug of war it was a sprinting race there was no tug at all and Darrel had no chance against Cory where he would have had more chance if there was more tug on the rope and it’s a shame as well because Darrel has a great dry sense of humour and it’s a shame that they don’t have him on more challenges, he’s great competitor and funny. Other than that this season was pretty mid it had good and bad moments but no great moments. Also love the vids keep up the great work.

I think that the main reason I liked this season is because it's The Challenge. I love TJ and the setup and idea of The Challenge, but this season is one of my least favorites out of every season I have seen. I think that they tried a little too hard with having consistent new twists, but the twists didn't really flow well with the length of the show and it just didn't seem to compliment the whole season. I hated the Rogue Agent twist. I think that having the Gold Skull twist, but then making it to where the Rogue Agent can be safe from elimination is so counter intuitive. The ability for CT to skip the elimination at the end and go straight to the final defeats the purpose of what the show has been saying of "You have to earn your right to be in the final". I also just really dislike Fessy. Although, he does remind me of how I felt when Cory and Nelson had their first couple of seasons. They have grown a ton since their first seasons and I was not a fan of theirs until after Hunter won his season with Ashley. I think Fessy can mature and grow through his time in the Challenge, but him being in this season really decreased my enjoyment of the show. I think he has a ton of potential, but he is just so unlikable in my opinion. I would give this season a C- and a 4.5/10 mainly because of Devin, Kyle, CT, Big T, Leroy, and Kam. These 6 really shined in this season and added a ton!

"You're just as good as me idiot" My favorite line from the whole show.

For me it wasn't my favorite season. I felt like it was okay, but that's it. I loved the fact CT and Amber won. Well deserved for both of them. I really disliked the majority of big brother players. Felt like Fessy was the worse of them. And even though Kaycee and Leroy had 5 wins. I kind of don't think they weren't that great of a team because most of their wins weren't fairly deserved. Kam ALWAYS helped Leroy in some way for him to win. Plus I don't think Kaycee had any real loyalty to Leroy. I wished Leroy would have gotten second at least. I have loved Leroy since the very beginning. Also new subscriber here and I am currently binge watching all your videos!

I think Anessa has some of the best confessionals.

In that reunion Fessy is just so uptight and serious he just needs to relax and not take himself so seriously. Like if you look at the casts reactions to Kyle and Devin, they can be annoying like a little brother you hate but they sort of love them in a way. They're both so self deprecating and will make a joke about themselves before they joke about someone else or 'punch-down'. Even Nany couldn't keep a straight face about the Devin tweet and just laughed it off.

if they do Double Agents II, it would be such a great twist if someone was given the power to determine someone else’s partner to screw them over or help them out. I think that would lead to much more drama.

100% there was supposed to be a purge this season for people without skills, there were just so many DQ’s (medical or otherwise) that they couldn’t do it

Couldn't agree more about the eliminations editing. I made a video making fun of it for /r/mtvchallenge because it was driving me crazy.

Major agree on them picking to many athletes. While I do think they should pick competitive players (Amber M should not have been selected) they should prioritize tv personalities.

I enjoyed it. They tried to do something different, good for them.

What messed this season up was the challangers that either had to leave because of an injury or medically dqed that screwed up the game I know that stuff happens but I think they shouldve tweaked it a little around those in the elimination what they couldve done if your rouge then you have to go against the next person eliminated to stay in the game that wouldve kept everyone with a partner idk I love the show and they all sound good on paper

Double Agents probably had the worst eliminations of any season ever. Only 3 of 15 eliminations were remotely competitive

When it comes to your rating, if we do usual math rules like the equivalent of C would be a score in the 70s, B in the 80s and so on. Shouldn’t the C score of 4.2/10 you gave actually be in the 7/10 range? Otherwise solid video

Agreed, way too much editing during the eliminations. I found myself fast forwarding to get to the end.

CLEARLY CT didnt pick Kam because she didn't respond "Ain't nothin but a heartache"

The skull twist failed miserably because as you said the season was way too long and there were way too many single eliminations. Lolo wouldn’t have chose to leave since eventually even she would’ve gone into an elimination by default since no one would want to go to another elimination just to keep her out. I would disagree with the drama over athletic people being on the show, especially since the finals are better with them being difficult. As much as we like drama, what’s the point if some people like Big T, Fessy & Aneesa are likely to finish near the bottom of most running challenges. Yet then again, Big T was far more useful than Lolo was competitively (who knew?) By the way, that 27/36 likely would mean either it was your 27th favorite season or the 27th episode review of some type of secret marathon you’re planning for our amusement.

Your opinion on the skulls is so bad. Without them we literally had people coasting to the final and someone getting thrown every week. There was no "strategy" around it like you're trying to say it would be without the skulls. Also, it doesn't matter if the skulls opportunities weren't limited, the competitors don't know that cause the show is unpredictable, hence why we saw Fessy backstab Nelson cause he thought he had to get it sooner than later.

@@BankheadButcher Fessy and Kaycee both have done football. Fessy talks about how he was almost in the NFL. I think Kaycee still does play football. What sports have the others done as adults? I tend not to really follow their lives outside of the Challenge.
