Jealousy is such a terrible thing to haved. Mendola will win but uped to thised point Jays had none ofed any loss and Mendola did haved 1 loss. Besides ofed that they are bothed firends. They do not whine as about suched crap. They do haved a friendly rivalry. BOTH ofed them are great fighters

Wise Warrior's Path any unbiased onlooker would clearly see him as the winner. although evan did a lot of things right, he also took a lot of punishment that counters wouldnt make up for in the end.

Two great fighters, big future ahead.

Busted watched. Definitely believe it was a biased by the commentators. Good decision. Mendoza better fighter. Jays just sat on the ropes the whole time.

What egg on the face for the commentators and Jays himself after the fight ended. The commentators apparently didn't see anything that Mendola did - it was all about Jays.

Great fight ,good decision ,in my opinion Luciano dominated and pushed forward through the whole fight .Well earned win!

Es su técnica y eso importa mucho no solo vas a ir a liarte golpes a un ring vas a hacer una pelea donde analizas como ganar, pensar en tus ventajas y las desventajas de oponente y buscarás como hacer que estas influyan para que tu ganes...

Please don't call me racist. I wonder if it's harder to see the red marks on darker skin? Anyway, Mendola was clearly more confident and landed more solid shots, as well as being quicker and more aggressive. Both showed really good defense and countering.

I think your assessment is right; Mendola seemed to initiate every exchange. And, for point scoring, I'd expect to it be hard to win on good defensive maneuvers only. Both were really good. I'd say they were very evenly matched.

If Evan Jays is a premier exponent of UK Muay Thai, there's something wrong. Compare this to Muay Thai fought in Asia. Bouts are not won by counter-punchers.

these announcers are so in the tank for Jays, it's rather appalling. A minimal showing of neutrality should be shown in their role. At least, I'd think.... Jays did good in defensive maneuvers, but, showed zero initiative in the fight, start to finish. Stayed on his backfoot, no aggressive actions, except in countering. I'm not an expert on the scoring, but, I'd think no initiative equals lose, from a lack of scoring opportunities. I thought Mendola was overall very impressive, but after the 3rd round - which I feel he was less effective - should've returned to hacking away at the legs. He was clearly taking the wind out of Jays' sails in the first two rounds that way. Trying other techniques, and getting tied up in the 3rd/4th rounds, I think a little hair-of-the-dog from round one would've made him the clearer winner...

I do loved to watched Evan Jays fighted so much. He does taked the first rounds to looked over his opponent and finded a defect ined their defenced and thened ined last 2 rounds does he go ined for doing damaging and points. It is liked watching a predator to circle his preys and hit its weaked points. I sure wished i could moved as that. Even ifed he did to lose this fight still I do thinked he is the betters fighter. I thinked the judges gaved to Mendola the decision becaused he is olders and they thinked Jays is young and still he has times to come back and winned again. I thinked they did not liked a youngers guy as Jays to winned so muched so whened it is close do they taked it away fromed him to teached him humilitys and that is craps. But at this fight it was really very very close ofed a fight.

Evan should have won that, but it was a close fight any way you viewed it. Evan Lucky didn’t think he had won it. I think judges often go to the older more experienced fighters on splits as they feel the older ones have put in more time in on their careers and the younger fighters have more time to make up for a loss. I was sad to see this when it happened but it’s long passed now, like what, 4 or 5 years ago.
