Purchased a set of these brakes on the judgment of these guys. The brakes are superb quality for their price range 👍

I have fitted Mtec discs and yellow stuff EBC's to my 525i Sport and the difference to standard is night and day, one quibble is rusting so I have painted the non contact parts with High Temp Brake paint

we are always impressed with the discs, what do you think of the EBC yellow pads, have you used red stuff pads before

Just got mine delivered today they are going on tomorrow so fingers crossed

Hi ! How are these holding up ? I have read a lot about these disks warping and even being warped out of the box ? ! And people claiming this ‘used’ to be a good brand back in the day when they started but now the have degraded ! Being a student this really means a lot because the money I have being saving past almost an year so I don’t wanna regret later ! Looking for genuine feedback ? Cheers

I Can Only Give Genuine Feedback Done 15K On My Other Set And I’m On 3K On These Most Of Those 3K Have Been Pretty Hard Even Had A Dozen 100MHP To 20MPH Stops When Drag Racing Been To Wales On A Driving Holiday Too I Can Honestly Say I’ve Never Had Issues. My Mate Tracks His Car And Uses These... You Do Hear Horror Stories But I’ve Never Had A Problem Or Anyone Else I Know - I’m Not Payed Or Sponsored By These I Just Reviewed Them Because I Brought Some At The Time Like I Always Do When I Buy A New Car 😀 👍🏻

Do you notice a sort of air noise under braking? I've noticed that with these pads but only when braking from over 30mph

I believe it is simply the heated air escaping through the drilled holed and rotor groves (if the groves extend to the end of the disc itself.

How are the discs holding up?

Thomas Peters we have them on our 540i/6 and rate them, We had them on our old Silver 540i and rated them... Quick delivery too :)

Well they supplied me with faulty disks and wouldn't refund me wasting not only the costs of the disks but also a lot of labour costs. And they try to block any negative reviews. Happy to flog their stuff but will NOT sort out issues. Avoid at all costs.

@@armeddeafboi7276 Sorry to hear that. They are shockers. They tried to take my Trustpilot review down and managed to get PayPal to not refund me. After a long battler PayPal suddenly refunded me (I still lost out on labour costs) and Trustpilot published the review. Oh and a review on Google has had hundreds of views. Don't give up - they must not get away with it!

Mintex certainly are a budget brand, but that isnt to say they're shit. Pagid are also budget parts but i rate them for what they are, never had their stuff come back with a manufacturing issue

Mtec discs are well shit that’s why there sooo cheap lol they definitely ain’t discs for track days unless your driving 30mph and the mintex pads are dog shit,this set up is for people on a budget and I’d never have that sticker on my ride,I’m in the U.K. and for my size front discs with mtec are only £99 !!! There cheap n shit
