Our lawn mowers doing the same is that a Japanese carburetor cuz we replace the carburetor and is still doing the same.

make sure governor is adjusted properly and governor springs have proper tension. i had bought a knock off carb from china. it works fine but everything else has to be ok as well. the part i purchased is no longer available off of Amazon but others are available. check out James Condon on KZread. he works on generators and has video on governor adjustments

No mention about carburator adjustments.

Yeah I should have mentioned it, does have better adjustments than original when it comes to air/fuel mixture.

Clamp that fuel line so you won't turn into a Roma candle

Yes, definitely if you don't have a shut off close.
