MTA to pilot CCTV screens on city buses... a sham or will it work?

Goodafternoon sir. That's a waste of money 💵. In the MTA. The MTA should've add Police on the Buses to stop people from not playing the fare.

It will fail, if cops has to get to the bus and bus stays there at every stop the buses will be delayed and major service disruptions and all buses will be late.

It'll fail. It can't keep track of everyone and i can already see the endless glitches it'll have

Yup and cops cannot go to every stop and stay at that stop, it will cause delay too.

I would say they should temporarily put that bus out of service until the issue gets sorted out but yup that's easier said than done

@@MTAProdigy also, every buses is going to have same issues because majority of people don't pay, that would mean pull about almost entire bus of people off. Also NYPD is understaffed and to Quote Patrick Hendry NYC PBA President nobody wants to be a NYC Police Officer long term, most people sign up taking it using it as a Stepping stone to get other career opportunities, better salary, better Pension and better Quality Of Life as every month NYPD is suffering the mass exodus December 2022 50 NYPD Cops left for Nassau County, and the other day 30 left for MTA PD I think, they jumping ship either take 3/4 pensions, leaving for Nassau County PD, Suffolk County PD, MTA PD, Port Authority, State Troopers or even leaving to become Police Officer in another State like Florida or or Texas, Tennessee etc and some for other careers.
