Mt. Fuji Day Trip From Tokyo

The information was slightly confusing and convoluted when I looked online to check out how to travel to Mt. Fuji's greatest views and experiences. While we did start with some initial traffic, we managed to make the most of the day while exploring some amazing locations around Lake Kawaguchiko and the surrounding area.

FYI: there is no 5min limit at the Pagoda balcony if you go early or late enough. The queue is only when there is too many people and prevents people from staying too long while giving everyone a chance for photographs. I just got back from there during peak cherry blossom full bloom a few days ago.

We took the Chuo line express from Shinjuku to Otsuki, we were planning to transfer to the local Fuji train line but the queue for tickets was crazy. Instead of joining the queue we decided to take a look around Otsuki and come back when the queue had quietened down. We found a Toyota rent a car just outside the station with very reasonable prices, we decided to rent a car to visit Arakurayama Sengen Park and Fuji Yurari Hot Spring and found this far more convenient.

What day did you leave that it was so crowded? A week day? Also what time of year is when you get more of a clear shot of the mountain?

Is is one day enough of a trip to Mt. Fuji? I’m looking for cheapest trip and enough time to return back to Tokyo. I do want to get a pic of the mountain at two or three spots while eating at some famous areas. What time did you leave before arriving? Your view isn’t clear so I guess you went during the spring? I wanted a clear view of the mountain on a clear day

By the way the Prime Minister of Japan Kishida loves Korea and he looks Korean. He knows that China will attack Japan one day. He came to Seoul for two days in May 2023. President Yoon's wife was a former actress and President Yoon sung American Pie at the White House. By the way Doug Mclean will come to Seoul in 2024 and sing with President Yoon.

You should have went to Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Daejeon, Jeju Island, Gwangju, South Korea. Lot cheaper than Japan. The young people in Japan listen to Kpop and Kdramas. Is that on your list of vacation. After UAE why not work at an International school Seoul Foreign School, Busan Foreign School, Yongsan International School, or Gangnam International School. Even some Brits work at Korean universities. Sookmyung Women's University or Sungshin Women's University or Hanyang University, for example.

I already went there and there just nothing. Few travel spot, I go to see Sakura flower and it’s not even bloom yet but so many tourist there, disappointing. Korea is nice choice if you want to go to Japan but have low budget. But if you have enough money Japan is way more better

@@Vrcoolvertotally agree. I’ve visited most places that OP mentioned in Korea, except for Jeju Island and found Japan to be more fun.
