MSS - Modular Sub System for large RC submarines.
Ойын-сауық
This is an in-depth overview and description of a modular style command and control assembly for large scale RC submarines.
Inspiration was taken from Ed Tordahl and his very cool 48th scale Skipjack project. More info can be found on the forum thread here:

I will also be creating a parts list and info writeup in the blog section of my website shortly (be patient if it's not up yet!).
Thanks for watching!

I'm a simple man. I see a Bob Martin video, I click. Brilliant as always!
God, I wished I had 1/10 of you're technical knowledge. Outstanding video. Thank you!
Finally found people that also love my strange obsession! Thank you!
Always enjoy the videos. Very informative.
Good Morning Bob, I just purchased a 9 foot sub with the system you have. I’ve watched and studied your detailed video set up. I’m a beginner in a sub and the person I purchased the sub is also very informative. I will watch your video over and over to understand more. Thanks to the seller that sent me this video.

Welcome aboard! That boat has been on eBay for a while. I'm glad that it finally found a new home. Let me know if I can help you get it finished out.

Good evening Bob, the structure part of the hull both fore/aft upper area are not done yet. Shall I fill it up with a resin or form a structure to wrap it with a thin fiberglass sheet? Can you pls offer any advice on it pls. Also, I would like to add lights and simulated antennas. Do you sell those on your website? Thanks again. I follow up on many of your videos and are very helpful and well explained. Thank you so much!! Julio.

@@junoypi There is a lot to do on that boat to get her ready for water. Feel free to open up a dialogue via email. KZread isn't the most appropirate forum for getting you your information. bob(at)nautilusdrydocks(dotcom).
What a great system, love the simplicity. Thanks for sharing Bob!
Always great presentations
The very very big Type XXI Uboat is so nice, I think it is my favorite (even before the Nautilus!!!). Please Bob give it a new life.
dang wonder if this would work well in my Big IIb and VIIb . very cool Bob. another amazing installment.
I need a set for my build of a swedish sub at 80 inch, I really need a set or a partlist with instructions.
how deep do this submarines can actually go before having leaks/ breaking

Usually you can go as deep as you want the problem is bringing it back up
@gian-227

@@Keon_MkIX the pressure increases while going down so, over tot pressure, the submarine would implode. In addition to that there is the problem of rc control: the more you go deep, more the receiver and the transmitter lose signal. Actually i dont know precisly how much it can go deep but it has limits.

@@gian-227 of course I absolutely agree it has limits but usually it can withstand more pressure than any pond or pool can inflict and with the rc range that’s what I meant with bringing it back up
