I'm currently a computer science student with an old laptop, having a secondary monitor would help me a lot for productivity as well as for online classes. This MSI MD241PW would be perfect!

I just started a software engineering internship here in the UK and it’s at a small company. (I love it btw) but the issue is because it’s a small company the budget isn’t huge so I only work on my 13 inch laptop. I’d love an external monitor to use as a second display - it’ll make my life so much easier!

@Anurag Jha Thank you! The imposter syndrome has been hard to overcome but I just keep reminding myself that I was selected to be here I just need to keep working on my skills.

I’m a computer engineering student using an old external monitor in conjunction with my laptop. The monitor I currently have is extremely bulky and also can be pretty blurry at times. Having a new monitor would definitely help me see my code a lot clearer as well as multitask and increase my productivity. It would also save a lot of space and money as a college student. Thanks for your amazing video Andres!

I love watching your videos mainly the efforts on your colour grading hats off and I'm damn crazy on new gadgets and exploring them very since my adolescence so I started learning to code you and create stuffs using embedded systems like Arduino Raspberry Pi nodemcu etc... all these days I'm using an hp 16 inch pentium laptop (production has been stopped very back) and soon I may get a good laptop and I wish the monitor would be really helpful for my studies and my projects...!!!

I honestly Need this monitor for all of my works including my online classes, video editing, Photo Editing and So on. My current monitor is a Dell monitor and it's really small and even had a lot of color accuracy problems and show some lines on the right side of the screen in different colors when using for a long time . I definitely wish I had this monitor to help me in my daily life .

I started my job as a UX Designer last January of this year, since then I find myself having difficulty to create and review my designs. It's because of I'm only using a 15 inch laptop to navigate through my designs and I end up moving closer to my laptop monitor just to see what i'm doing clearly and of course it caused me eye strains. This monitor will help me a lot in doing my designs, prevent me on having eye strain because of how I'm closer to my laptop's monitor every time I used it and I also play games on my laptop, so this will give me a whole new experience when playing.

I've had this hp laptop for 3 years now and it's working pretty well. but recently one of its hinges got stiff so i took it out and now im using tape to hold the laptop up lol. A monitor would really help with my productivity and since im going to do my final exams soon having a good screen to work with would be a whole game changer. I'm not the poorest but im not rich enough to buy a new laptop, let alone a monitor so this would be a great addition to my productivity :)

The one thing I do really struggle with as a content creator is my current monitor: an old and squared 17-inch AOC 177S-1. Is neither bright nor colour accurate and, again, is squared. I'm color grading my footage by instruments, thankfully Resolve is great at this. So, having this monitor would upgrade my workflow ten fold.

It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity. What a review bro 😘🥰💖

Bro gotta say this video was instrumental in me buying this device. A year later I am satisfied, although the monitor you got is not very common in my country as more is available from Dell and Samsung but at a much higher price point: Dell devices like Ultrasharp pushing beyond 500EUR easy. And the Samsung being more geared at hybrid TV/ monitor hybrid devices. For the Z16: Cooling is a big issue on the MSI Z16 and recently they removed Cooler Boost from the MSI Center App. I would suggest if people are buying the Z16 (2021 version i7) and have have solved this to message me. The cooler boost being removed the device is very rough to handle UE5 basic workflows like a lit scene using even no raytracing. The 65W charge is the reason why I suppose. The form factor is thin and the newer Z16P and Z17 (there is no Z16 this generation I think) have added a vapor chamber which helps tons with cooling I suppose and they are better in ergonomics with a bigger touchpad. But they added 1k USD to the price point, so no thanks for me at least... Better get a Macbook Pro at that price point... But yeah, I suppose it would have a big loss to the Asus ProArt after the CoolerBoost downgrade since it overheats and barely survives... It just doesn't have the punch for modern workflows anyways, like UE5, Character Creator, Metahumans and LiveLink. It just burns in UE5 if you try to add Ultra Dynamic Sky or have one actor do a mixamo run, or adding an Ocean or body of water will totally overkill your keyboard. #HEATisTHEmainISSUE It does have enough horsepower for Redshift realtime if you know how to tweak for previz and render, will also do great with Octane realtime within Cinema 4d. All Zbrush Substance Painter, 3dCoat will be a breeze. Videogaming is great. Although it did bug on me a couple of times while playing FF7 Remake at 1440P, 4k was overkill but it did manage even 4k on some parts of the game at about 27-30fps. This laptop is a pain in your face as you open the lid from the bottom, the motherboard is backwards so modularity is not good here... The SSD NVME can be upgraded easily without removing all parts and only raising a fan + removing 1 screw. You should add a 1TB NVME as it will give new life to this laptop, but it will reduce the battery life by some % during usage. While you can in theory push the RAM to 64GB, the operation of opening the backlid and dismantling the motherboard is painful, risky and should be done by an expert. Even experts will take an hour or longer so, yeah... the RAM should allow for better performance in VRAY and some intelligent allocation could in theory help push After Effects, Zbrush, UE5 and help you test larger scale files even on this bottlenecked device. On the long run this an ideal second device, even though you might use it as a main as I do. If you can main a desktop and use this as a shiny second, please do. My ideal dream studio would have this: An ASUS, or MSI desktop, Intel i9-13800K, RTX4090, 64GB RAM, 1TB NVME, 256GB boot NVME, 2TB HDD. As a desktop main. For all creative workflows and 4k gaming. A Z16, Z17, or Z16P as a laptop second device. For color grading, video work and casual gaming while the main is rendering or something. I mean you can game, but it just won't be as awesome as you would think since it only has 6GB VRAM. Z17 might be a different story with 8GB VRAM but its still mid-high level graphics card at best and stuttery 1440p FPS. Desktop is Desktop... At this point you really have to hate APPLE to pick the future devices withing the MSI Creator Z-family as they are headed to 4K-5K price point. While still not giving everything you may need to pull out from it. A solid A- grade device. Hungry for power and colder weather.
