Please DON'T use the AFS OVRD paddles to disengage the autoflight system. That is the emergency override only. This also kills flight envelope protections and RCWS. :( Use the buttons on the yoke/throttles to disconnect.

Ah thanks for the info. a lot to learn about this aircraft. Never owned one in X-Plane and this is the first MD-11 I am flying.

Absolutely, texture quality is OK but PMDG is way better in texturing and text clarity in my opinion.

5:24 I might be wrong, but I think I usually enter the name & course. I.e. IMSP/301 instead of frequency & course 110.3/301. That aside, does it not fill in the details automatically as soon as it’s within a certain distance of the airport?

I have not tested if it does fill in automatically or not. I'd expect it would but yet to be tested.

Hello, the dial a flap selector after Take/Off is set to 15- not to 10 degrees- for my company at least- I have never heard, airlines using Flaps 10- where did you hear/ read this? In your Video at 17:45 during the approach, the PFD speed band will show you a green "F15" speed-marker, below that, it is time/safe to select Flaps to 15. Thanks for the video!
