22:31 that was a Navy landing if I ever saw one. :) Though the STOVL/HVR F-35 B probably has reinforced landing gear like her older sister, the F/A-18 because the B is designed for the Marine Corps. :)

If you want helmet mounted view, go to menu, and then HMD, from now on, so long as you are not looking at important aircraft operations, such as the screen, switches... etc. You'll be able to see the heading of where you look, speed, altitude, VS, etc.

What about joystick sensitivity for the f35 in the options tab?

does this plane have any sort of radar/tcas to find other planes?

I just downloaded this and the throttle is stuck in full throttle, no matter what my throttle setting on my saitek throttle quad. Any solutions?

Hey I saw my House in South Boston on the simulator !!!

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get autotrim to work on this plane at all even though it was supposedly added a few updates ago. The trim button on the stick doesn't seem to do anything for me. Any ideas anyone? Edit: removing a weapon loadout mod seemed to do the trick, but still doesn't seem to work the same as in the video

The devs explained that the Autotrim feature wasn't working (bug) if you do a cold start. It's more a MSFS problem though since the sim doesn't understand how the F35 works. They're working on it, but if that's your issue, just start from the runaway directly.

​@@MadX8 the auto-trim itself seems to work for me now either way, but I don't get any "Auto" induction on the glass like in this video. I also can't turn it off (idk if that's supposed to be functional or not). So it works but idk if I still have something weird going on.

I bought F35 from msfs marketplace on xbox. The plane is beautiful but I encountered a very disappointing issue where multiple button on the panel are unclickable. like swap, change page etc. Does anyone else have the same problem?

The FBW is horrible and AP is bad. The Flight model is getting a overhaul update. Hopefully it will be out this week.

I don't understand why they doing those combat aircrafts for mfs20 if they can only fly, what's the point? isn't better to play DCS? with those combat airplanes? makes no sense to me to buy them for mfs20.

You're right. If you want to fly fast in canyons, just fly the default FA18.

@@RipperMaggoo a lot of dcs aircraft aren't even real modules, they're just mods made by dedicated people. Those can be downloaded, and $80 is well worth a full 1:1 simulated plane

An F35 is a flying game. It doesn’t control like a plane, it controls like a spaceship. An F22 pilot was talking about how his son with no flying experience can fly a new gen plane because its so easy. The plane flys itself. The difficulty lays in the systems, and knowledge work to operate its weapons.
