55???!! Anhand der Stimme und/oder des Sprachgebrauchs sowohl auf Deutsch/Englisch hätte ich stets gedacht: der Typ ist höchstens um die 30 Jahre. Die Stimme klingt auch nicht anders als damals vor 7 Jahren bei den FSLabs Videos :D Wusste auch gar nicht, dass Sie noch streamen. Ich hab nur damals als kleiner Aerosoft-Bursche ihre Videos und den FSL A320 bewundert und gestern noch eines (sehr lehrreich!) für einen pneumatic engine start in Dubai bei OAT 37°C konsultiert, um „APU fuel zu sparen“: der Fenix A320 hat etwa 350kg weniger fuel TCAP als ich das mal auf nem echten OFP mir abgeschaut habe und selbst mit dem Cost index 3 leg bis FRA wurde es sehr brenzlig: Simbrief spuckte für eine dezent spätere EOBT andere Daten raus, nachdem ich kurz vor OFP generation aus Versehen alles gelöscht hatte. Turns out, dass das Ganze procedure natürlich das x-fache verschleudert hat von dem, was die APU geschluckt hätte… 35%+ N1 auf dem supplying engine und so, aber nett es mal probiert zu haben 😂 Happy synthetic landings!

Und zum Austrian A320 mit dem Schaden am Radome fällt mir ein: das ist exakt die gleiche Maschine wie die D-ALTE, also die LTU standard livery mit CFMs die defaultmäßig im Fenix V2 dabei ist. Als ich vor dem Vorfall hörte, glotzte ich gerade im cruise auf das exterior von der Kiste und vermutlich auch aufs Näschen, war recht lustig. Für ein britisches Entwicklerstudio weisen sie also im livery manager ein auffälliges Faible für jüngere deutsche Luftfahrtgeschichte auf: die Lufthansa D-AIQR mit Fußball radome (da haben wir das berühmte Bauteil schon wieder) von der WM 2006 ist auch mit dabei; womöglich eine versteckte Botschaft zur jetzigen EM? ⚽️
