MSFS 2020 - Paro VQPR RNAV(RNP) X runway 33 with A32NX experimental | 4K | Ultra

Ойындар

World's most dangerous approach, RNP cloud break procedure runway 33, at VQPR (Paro, Bhutan). The final part of this approach is the one used by flight GM-515 Boeing 737-300F that performed an unstable landing on 2021/07/12.
The valley is so tight, mountains so high and steep, that planes must follow very precise path and observe the best angle to descent at the right air speed to land safely.
Both sides of the runway are surrounded by terrain and planes must perform turns until touchdown !
I was 400ft too high at FAP so adapted my descent rate from 3.0 to 3.5 in order to be at the right altitude when reaching minimum decision altitude. At this point, as everything was correct, I was able to continue my approach until landing.
Don't forget to comment with your suggestion for any beautiful or impressive category C or D approach over the world. Some CAT B can be done I can consider it according on runway length etc. Then, I will try to do it and post the video on this channel !

Wonderful landing! May I ask if there is a particular reason to switch off the FD?

Thanks. Yes for many non precision approaches, pilots will switch off FD to avoid confusion as it will not follow the manual path.
