When Nvidia Frame Generation was introduced in MSFS, it worked flawlessly with VSync. With high TLOD near ground level, frame times are stable in MSFS only at 30 fps. Frame generation gave evenly frame paced 60 fps. But soon, an update to MSFS broke FG with VSync and frame pacing was bad. One can read about this issue in the below thread:

I have been trying various tricks but without sustainable success for evenly frame paced frame generation.
Recently I saw a video about a new tool for frame generation called "Lossless Scaling" available via Steam (works for MSFS Store version also). I decided to give it a try and I was pleasantly surprised to see the best ever evenly paced 30 fps to 60 fps frame generation. Yes there are some minimal artifacts but even Nvidia's DLSS3 has artifacts. These are nothing immersion breaking and can be mitigated by slow panning or higher base frame rate.

Works with DX11 and HAGS off (better frame pacing, less stutters).
Check the top left corner of the video. The in game fps and presentmon fps are displayed.
Settings:

In NVCP: VSync Application Controlled
In MSFS: VSync ON, 50% Refresh Rate
Lossless Scaling:
In NVCP: VSync ON
