A 'traditional' safe in a wardrobe, especially one as deep as this one, is very dark and you tend to struggle finding things like phones, wallets, passports, etc. With the drawer which you slide open before lifting the whole lid, you can see all the content in one go in a well lit area.

This video’s come out so well! I got a fright when you said how few insides are in Yacht Club, but my original inside (non YC) was on deck 19 where they would usually have the YC insides - I wonder if they’re now trying to get rid of the cheaper rooms from the Yacht Club area…

Thanks Fraser and thanks again for letting us tour your room. I reckon you could be right, maybe having a suite that is an inside puts people off, but for us it was only way in October we could afford yacht club, so hopefully yacht club interiors don’t disappear completely.

Hey, thank-you as always for watching and commenting! Yeah we were lucky to get access to a couple and stay in the balcony cabin we really like the MSC cabins for a mid range cruise line. Ship tour next….hopefully 🤣

Great info, my wife and i are booked for 2nd June, i tend to take expensive Camera Equipment with me and my insurance would not pay out if i was negligent so a safe in the cabin or a room is essential to demonstrate i have been careful. Just guessing but perhaps one reason that safe in the draw is not a waste.

Glad this was of use, it was a pretty big safe to be fair and bigger than most I’ve seen, for me I’d prefer it at the top of a cupboard t rather than taking up draw space, but that’s just a personal preference 🙂. Have a great cruise.

Fantastic and informative video as always B’s! The flashing lights in the inside cabin would drive Dan MAD! You should see the song and dance he does if there’s a red light on a smoke alarm 😂 The Yacht Club is the only way we’d travel on MSC - peace and quiet is worth the premium to us. Layout seems pretty similar to the Meraviglia-class, looks nice! Never seen a safe in a drawer before, what’s wrong with the wardrobe?! Your video has made us even more excited for Euribia with you guys, and MSC World America’s Maiden ☺️

The lights were in all cabins not just interior! Was t so bad for us as the kids like a little light but drove me insane. I know who wastes a draw with a bloody safe!!! I’ve never used a safe nothing that valuable 😂 Right tell Dan I need to hear this song lol so excited to go Eurbia with you guys 😃😃 As always thank you for watching xx Ps we may join you on America if you sneak us into YC 🤔

Great video, so nice to be able to compare different classes of cabin. Nice touch for the USB’s to be on the outside of the lamps by the beds, I’ve heard of people completely missing them when they’re underneath.

Hi Laurent. Thanks for watching and commenting. Please do not apologise for your english, it’s perfect , we appreciate you writing in English, as our French is terrible. So the easy package is available to use in all bars, buffet and main restaurant just not the speciality restaurants. As its cheapest package your restrictions are listed on the menu, you be able to have certain beers/wines and cocktails but it’s all easily labelled on the menu. Hope this helps? Have great cruise.
