I ended up going with msc because the belt temps were 20-25 degrees cooler. And I felt the mid range was much better. When watching the stage 3 comparison I showed how one was having an issue with rubbing and the other wasn’t nearly as bad. Also ones paint came off and covered my belt box as well “I wasn’t to happy about cleaning all that out honestly”. I think both kits have a place but I wanted more bottom end but I didn’t want to sacrifice top end “I like going 70+ mph” and the max kit gave me that. Thanks again for watching.

I have MSC stage 3 mud kit running 30s absolute beast! Love it! Tons of torque! Msc has dyno to back up claims. RNG junk only has his big mouth telling all of us how good his kit is!

Temps on belts will not hurt them if was over 180° yes but i spoke to belt manufacturers and temps on belts are fine so your differences that you found there means nothing Just your opinion.....

Actually testing the machine in stock configuration it’s not hard to get over 200 degrees on a relatively long hard pull. Over 220 can cause belt delaminating “that’s from rng and from cfmoto”. Last but not least the testing was done on 22 degree days. So belt temps will be low. Running the rng stage 1 in sand I had belt slip “as I’ve said” and that’s with an rng kit. Could it happen with msc? Absolutely but it hasn’t yet and I tested on the same trail and sand hill as well. So as I’ve said to others you can disagree all you’d like but your welcome to get both products yourself and test them or if your in the pa area your welcome to ride with me and we can compare directly. My point of the temps were to show what I was seeing as “rng” recommended that portion of the test himself “both rng and msc helped to determine the testing”. I understand your an rng guy and I’m happy to see you found what you want but facts are facts.

@mjmisadventures950 I think the kits have ups and downs on both sides .that being said, I believe the RNG clutches work better on trails and mud just my opinion , I think MSC has better off the line torque but not really smooth ...i take smooth over drag racing most CFMOTO where built for tail riding not drag racing again just my opinion .

So I can agree in a way but disagree in another. I feel the power the msc kit has is better in the mud because of its weights and IT’s reduction in belt slip. On the trail at slower speeds 10 and under I agree the rng kit has better performance because of how the clutch is setup. But imo and it shows via testing mid range was an issue I had with rng “that’s why he sent 18 and 20g weight” to test both. My main issue was my machine stopped at 65mph and if I coasted down hill I could get 67. Where the msc kit “stage 1” gave me 68mph but it felt way snappier. I agree about drag racing but I chose that because it’s a time everybody understands and it give the machine time to run hard so even if it’s slow off the line it can make up for it. But for me I’ve switched back and forth both kits “off camera” and ridden on trails and in mud and hills and so on. I see the same thing consistently I wrap the motor way out and it just sits there and doesn’t seem to help it much where the msc kit you can feel it powering through. I said that to red and said man am I doing something wrong? I said it comes off the line hard but then seems to nose over. He said that’s just the way they are. On the trail the msc kit imo kicks butt. I holds its own against can am x3’s “up to about 55mph” then they do pull away from me but for a n/a car vs a turbo can I think that’s reasonable. As I’ve said for rock crawling in a z950 or if your spraying a fence line his kits “ok” but theirs better out there and I’ll take a small engagement feel off the line for way better low end to top end. As I’ve said I’m not against rng “even though he hates me for some reason idk why”. But when it comes to clutches vv and msc have a far superior kit for that reason. I’m not sure if you’ve tried their kit or again if your close to me I’ll gladly go for a ride with ya and show ya the difference.

Some kits I can agree with that price. But honestly the prices of materials have gone up exponentially. If they were pot metal I could see a 275 price range kit. Maybe one of the two should look into a cheaper alternative and then still offer the premium option.
