I am with you, Jay. I love going on the boats but am more comfortable watching. When I was frequenting Bermuda I made friends with this young man who owned a big sailboat that he had as his business for the same thing as your catamaran. Every time I went back there, I called him, and no matter what he always made room for me to go and it was so much fun, especially when it was windy enough to use the sails. While everyone else snorkeled, I sat on the boat.

Agreed. Love the catamarans at cozumel. I will definitely do that again. Strong drinks and dancing equal nap!! Love cozumel in general.

El Cielo!! Its a new excursion for Carnival but El Cielo is Spanish for HEAVEN and it fits its title . 💗

I think you guys are getting to the same point as me with Cozumel. There was a time where I’d been to Cozumel so many times over a 5 year period that i felt like it was a second home. I’d get off the ship, get into a cab & know exactly where I was going, what I was doing, I used to eat at this tiny restaurant so often the guys working there knew who I was. I’ve probably been there 40 times. I actually have taken a 11 year break on cruises there so I’m getting ready to go back because I know it’s totally changed .

When we were last in Cozumel, we did the submarine (Yes, it's an actual sub which goes to about 150 feet depth). As we're not great swimmers, it was an excellent way to see many different fish and keep dry.

Cant go wrong with a booze cruze. Looks like they took you to Money bar. That is a good shore snorkeling spot they just ask you to buy some food and drinks. I not a huge fan of the snorkeling in Cozumel but the scuba diving is amazing.

Been to cozumel several times and always just shop and eat...but next time I'll check out fury beach. Now that I know how tall ya'll are, I can't help but notice how other people look like shorties next to the statuesque dee. Lol

I loved seeing you do the Fury snorkeling catamaran. This was my very first port excursion in 2019 & my first successful snorkeling experience! My myself & four friends went & had a blast. They were making us special margaritas. Your boat looked packed! Did you guys dance on the front deck of the catamaran? Tons of fun on the way back. It was unreal drinking margaritas in the sun walking on a sandy beach at 10 am. I was hooked on cruising instantly!

Jay and Dee, thanks for doing a VLog on one of the MSC ships. I've always had the impression that the MSC cruise line is considered to be "lower end" compared to the Carnival and RCL Cruise Lines. What are your overall impressions of the MSC experience compared to Carnival and RCL Cruise Lines?

I went on the MSC Divina in December and I will give you my honest opinion. The ship was beautiful and the staff are awesome, but they're downfall is they need a good cruise director. Without one it was a boring trip. I have not booked another MSC because I was afraid that it would be that way across their fleet, but after finding this video I think I may give it a try. I am on my way to Miami right now to get on the Carnival Sunrise tomorrow!

I think I heard you say the burgers were $11 each - sounds like they were yummy. The meal looked really good and those shows on board looked really GREAT!

A huge thumbs up for correctly pronouncing Cay as KEE! Pronunciation matters and I appreciate you! That is the only way it is pronounced properly. RC is punking their passengers with their grotesque mispronunciation of Coco Cay. BTW, if you don't have an excursion or day beach club planned for Cozumel (Koh-zoo-mail, not Kah-) and are in port at San Miguel centro, I absolutely recommend lunch at Pescaderia San Carlos. One of the best freshest seafood restaurants! They serve fresh fish that was just caught that morning! It was originally recommended to us by the ship's officers. Prices are very affordable and cash only. Save by paying in pesos$, about 20 pesos for a USD $1 (5¢). And don't forget to pop in to the MEGA on your way back to the ship!

What a fun day. I have confession. When you show the dining menu, I freeze it and review desserts. Then I guess which dessert each of you will have before that part of the video. I was right on this one with cheesecake and tiramisu.

No, it's just for the private usage of Fury Catamaran folks. You could try Paradise Beach Club on their all-inclusive or a la carte plans if you're into a beach and pool day in Cozumel!! :D

Was it hard to get on and off the catamaran? It’s always my fear when getting on and off boats from the water that I won’t have enough upper body strength. I’m a good swimmer but a bigger person so I tend to worry about that part.

Is Grand Cayman on your itinerary? We're on the Seashore next month, western carrib and don't have Cozemuel on our sailing but Grand Cayman, Costa Maya, Ochos Rio and Ocean Cay.

It was originally, but Grand Cayman was not accepting ships at all when we sailed, so it was replaced with a sea day.

So much pasta & carbs. Was there a lot of seafood on the buffet? Actually, how did you find the buffets? I keep seeing mixed reviews but I do hear that it’s a little light on protein.

Our sailing was about 30% full. Definitely didn’t feel crowded to us!! :D

Question, which I should've asked on part 2 (I believe), but how did you get the trilogy and drunk package included in your fair?

MSC frequently runs promotions that include the drink package, wi-fi, and other perks, so it would be a matter of watching for sales and specials on their website. The Trilogy package normally has to be added separately, but as we mentioned at some point in this series, MSC was nice enough to gift that to us for our sailing! We were super flattered they did that for us!! :D

HELLO AGAIN : Really enjoyed your video today. As I told you previously we are sailing on Seashore January 22nd. QUESTION : My wife & I are fully vaccinated & boosted. Do we need proof of a negative covid test 2-3 days prior to boarding like RCL or do they make you take a test at terminal ????? Their website isn't that clear. Thank You In Advance. John

As of right now, you must provide a negative test upon arrival at the port, yes indeed!!

Mostly Old Navy from many moons ago, no longer made these days. They do have some form of sun protection as far as I know.

@@parodeejay I really like them. Thank you for letting me know as I have been actively looking for myself a swim shirt to help combat the sun. Maybe Old Navy or some other retailer will watch and see there is a need for such cool and functional swimwear!

What is the excursions price please

Enjoy your video. Have you seen Ben and David's video of MSC Grandiose? They were not happy with food, entertainment, or customer service - evidently, they were yelled at for volgging on more than one occasion. Hard to believe, they seem so nice. Did you have any of their experiences?

No, not at all! Dining room food was average, specialty was fantastic, and no one even gave us a strange look or anything for vlogging. The theater shows acrobatic portions were great, and we loved the singing in the cabaret each night. I wonder if there's any difference in the European market or mentality versus sailing from Florida. Weird!!

Curious about your personal policy on excursion tipping?

We're usually tippers, but it's personal discretion. If you feel like the team didn't go above and beyond to create a great experience, I wouldn't feel compelled to tip!! :P

Have you even tried scuba diving

We just did this in August. Did not like it and it was not worth the money. Only saw 2 kinds of fish and they only came around when the photographer sprinkled food. I love you guys and Dee likes fish like I do. I hope you time was better.

Dee enjoyed the snorkeling overall, though it was mostly sergeant majors, blue tangs, and a few other fish that we see all the time whose names I forget, ha ha... I noticed in the editing that a lot of the fish were down at the bottom and that could make them hard to see, but some of them definitely got in her face even though we didn't see anyone feeding them!! :P ~Jay
