Good review, you guys hit on many details that most cruise youtubers miss.

O.K. Legend, I just got off the MSC Seashore. Three nights Nassau & Ocean Kay, Pros: Beautiful Ship, great decor, good staff, awesome magic show in the theater. Cons: food in dining room was awful, elevators took a long time, Beds were like sleeping on a marble slab, staff seemed overworked and not enough of them, had over 5,000 people on board and it seemed about 1,000 too many. Hope you and Molly have a great time in March.

If the mattress is good… oh I love black out room for sleep. So much to do outside on the ship and great sleep. Best sleep is like how dark it is for me. ❤❤

This was an excellent review. Thank you. It appears that not many people sail this ship, which means more room to walk around. And probably not a lot of kids running up and down the hallways. I'm doing a transatlantic in 2025. Looking forward to it.

We did film a lot of the ship tour while the cruise ship was in port in Nassau Bahamas, in the evenings or while at sea it did feel busier.

Really great video. I’ve heard really mixed reviews on the food. It didn’t really look that good to me from the video. What’s your take away on the food? I’m on the magnifica in early May.

Pizza in the buffet was fantastic. Buffet was hit or miss. Main dining room was in line with Carnival/Royal Caribbean/Norwegian.

Im going on the mágnifica in march. Your review made me feel a little better. I booked it before reading reviews and 157 reviews total said it was dirty broken down and not worth it and they’re comments from Jan 2024. Can I have your honest opinion are the rooms clean and tidy? Do you know if we are allowed to bring our own alcohol or water ?

I found the room clean. MSC doesn’t allow guests to bring on their own water or alcohol.

How do you know if your ship will have an all white party? As well as were shots included in the drink package? Going on this ship in about 2 weeks & got the easy plus package.

I think every MSC cruise I have been on has a white party. Shots were included with the beverage package.

There was no formal night on our sailing and the 3 theme parties were: Sunshine, White Night & Tropical.

Great video! My boyfriend and I are going in a couple of weeks, and I was wondering, did you guys have to request to be sat at a table for only the 2 of you? At other cruises we have been on they forced us to sit with other couples

Yes, we did have to request a table for two. There is a dining question desk that opens at noon on embarkation day in one of the dining rooms, go there and request a table for two. If that doesn’t work, when you get to your dinner time go to the desk and ask if they have any tables for two available. I really don’t like shared tables in the dining room and would much rather talk to the person I’m on the cruise with.

I am going on this ship next month. 4 of us but we purchased our packages separately (2 and 2). You said you really don't know what your meal time is until check in. Is it possible to get table assigned together at check in? We did contact MSC I am just not sure what they said as I wasn't the one that called.

Yes. On embarkation day in one of the dining rooms there will be a help desk for dining questions and you could confirm or get moved to a table for 4 there.

I have a question about soft serve ice cream. I noticed that the non-alcoholic drink package comes with ice cream. So ia that the only way to get soft serve ice cream without paying separate for it?

The soft serve in the back of the buffet is free, in the indoor pool area is a gelato stand that is an extra charge.

@@IntheLoopPodcast Thank you so much! I'm still debating on getting the non-alcoholic package because when I was on the MSC Meraviglia I only drank about $250 worth of all drinks for a package that was valued at over $800 😀. Happy cruising 🛳️

Hey, great video. Question about the drink package. Which drink package did you get? Did you find that it covered all of the drinks you wanted or did you end up having to pay more anayways? I've heard the drinks with the drink packaage can be light on the alcohol. Did you expirience this?

We upgraded to the premium extra package. It covered all the drinks we wanted. I didn’t get any drinks that were light and most bartenders would ask if you wanted a double (even with pricey liquors).
