My only complaint with Ocean Cay private island was that there wasn't any fish habitats to snorkel around. We went in Aug.2023 and went to the big lake in the middle (not really a lake), and if they had dropped some habitat's in the water it would have been SO much better. Like a fake sunken pirate ship, or an sunken airplane. Something to see or for fish to congregate around. Besides that it was top notch. And the night beach party was fun for the whole family.

I agree! I have heard that if you snorkel on the outside of the island along the rocks, you will have a better time finding fish. But I have not tested that out myself. I did see some fish along the netting at lighthouse Bay between the ship and lighthouse. But it wasn't anything to write home about.

Wow, thanks for this video! I pinned down this 7 night Western Caribbean cruise out of Miami: Day 1 Miami Day 2 at sea Day 3 Cozumel, Mexico Day 4 Isla de Roaton, Honduras Day 5 Costa Maya, Mexico Day 6 at sea Day 7 Ocean Cay It’s very reasonable for 4th of July week per person compared to other cruise lines (2 interior rooms). We like to be away for 4th of July 😃 My wife, 2 kids (19 and 21) and I have been to many Caribbean all-inclusive islands. We just like to chill at the resort, but the kids have been getting bored of it, so thinking about a cruise for something different. I’ve only been on one cruise many years ago. RC 4 day Bahamas cruise. I thought it was just okay, but it wasn’t enough time to give thumbs up or down for cruising in general.

Thank you for watching! That sounds like a great itinerary! All of those ports are so great, with ample things to do like shopping, swimming, and enjoying the local entertainment! The Magnifica was a little lack luster on some of the amenities that your kids might like since there isn't a water park with big water slides like on other MSC ships. But I am sure they will have a great time! Make sure to join a Facebook group for your particular sailing as its a great way for your family to make friends before the sailing! Please enjoy and make some great cruise memories!

@@Adamas11 I have not done any Royal Caribbean cruises yet! It's on my list to try them out. I do know Grandeur of the seas is one of their smallest ships so I don't think it has a ton of bells and wistles like the bigger classes with royal.

@@HereTodayWhereTomorrow Yeah, I watched a lot of videos on Grandeur of the Seas. I am not concerned with not as many bells and whistles as long as it is a good time, and great value. I like the ports of call, so there’s that too. And I am booking this kinda last minute and trying to get the best bang for my buck!

We have been on 9 MSC cruises across 4 different ships. They have thier quirks but MSC is a great cruise line. Great review.

I've been on several cruises with MSC and each one has been fantastic. I've been on Armonia, several times on Divina, Meraviglia, and Seaside and can't wait to try Magnifica! Love your vids!

This was such a great video! Going on my first MSC Cruise in 8 days! Only my second cruise ever so I had so many questions! We’re doing a 4 night to the Bahamas and still wondering to do the drink package or not. My boyfriend drinks, I don’t as much but I do love the cawfee options and smoothies and other drinks that don’t seem to be included. Do you think the packages are worth it?

I hope you have a wonderful time! I would get the drink package as the specialty coffees are included with the package! Also they have some really delicious drinks that aren't heavily alcoholic like the frozen toblerone! (It's delicious)

Thanks for the insight on the food situation! People have had me pretty worried about the selection on board. But, like you, I am not a picky eater AT ALL. I like everything, I mean, I can recognize low quality from high quality food. But there's pretty much nothing I won't eat unless it seems to be spoiled. So I appreciate your view, from one non-picky person to another. My only question would be, is there food available pretty much all day? Since there seems to be no dedicated places to just grab snacks or light bites.

Yes! I also had a super early flight. I arrived super early and boarded earlier then my supposed arrival time. And yes they had a 70s/80s party, elegant night and a white night!

MSC is pretty chill on their drink packages. In the past on multiple different MSC ships I was able to order many drinks whenever I wanted. many in under an hours time. I think you'll be fine. Enjoy!

Yatch club on the sea scape was awesome, yatch club on the island is over rated.
