As part of the MSc AI success stories, here's Megan Fillion's, promotion 2021-2022. After completing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (with a focus on Intelligent Systems) at Columbia University, where she concentrated on Software Engineering and then on Robotics and Machine Learning, Megan held the position of Teaching Assistant at the same university. She also worked as an IOS Full Stack Developer at Apple (among others).
Back in France, Megan joined a startup, Ocus, as a Data Scientist, where she was able to implement different AI models to create a large image database. She then joined CentraleSupélec's MSc AI program. The MSc enabled her to consolidate her fundamental knowledge and specializations in AI, working alongside experts in their field and participating in academic research projects and industrial experience.
Megan now works for Lixo, a company which develops AI solutions for better management of recycled waste. Lixo provides performance metrics for recycled materials and has recently implemented object tracking to improve count metrics and detect new objects.
