This is where i bowl. League pattern is great. Weekends you get a mixed bag and ive bowled on some of these leftover tournament patterns. I literally feel like im shooting at a splinter instead of a few boards.

I might like to suggest in a practise instead of trying to strike, just concentrate on hitting your spot. Even more consistency in that aspect will/should certainly help your spare game. BTW, you looked but more calm with your hips so I hope that injury is improving.

Noticed a few times on your vlogs where you say you had only a few hours sleep. This is definitely something to work on. Do you get anxious about playing tournaments? Maybe a review of those times you didn't sleep well could reveal a pattern that can be dealt with. 🤷‍♀️

I usually don't sleep well the day before a tournament, sometimes I work until midnight then we leave at 5am but other times it could be that I'm a bit anxious... Not sure

@@Kurt_Ridgewell I usually find if I'm anxious and trying to fall asleep my back is stiff and I am up for hours. I will then deliberately relax the spine, appreciate how good that feels and think about something that is calming. If it stiffens up again, relax it again. Room temperature may also be a factor. The only time to rehearse a plan of approach to a tournament is when you are awake, not when trying to fall asleep. Been there done that. Never worked for me. Hope this helps. 🙂

For me…..it’s the portion of the lane ur playing. That’s not always there. I don’t think I’ve seen u right of 30 board. Even Darren when he made it to top 4 jumped n entire zone. The best of the best can play any zone. Idk u personally but I’d like to see what ur scores looked like if u get a little right, killed ur hand, and let the ball work.

I've had a few people mention I play too far left on most patterns, I don't clue in until I'm putting together the video

@Kurt_Ridgewell Even the pros try to pay a straight as possible and move left as needed. It may not look as sexy as hooking the entire lane, but it breaks down the pattern so that you'll get controllable reaction as the transition happens. Also, watch the lane play on the pair you bowl on next... see how they are playing.
