Doubt? If I need to calculate the NetworkDays of an employee in my Org where the weekly offs (2 days) is dynamic i.e, not compulsorily same days every time. How can I calculate it using this function? Or some other function should be used? I was just checking the usage of this function in all possible ways to learn excel better. Hope to get an answer from you SIr or anyone in the forum.

Sir TYSM for these videos, I learnt a lot. I have one question, in this video is there any way put holidays in NETWORKDAYS() and NETWORKDAYS.intl() if they are written in alternate cells like L8 and L11 and L3. I tried by separate them with ":" but it gave the wrong result. so is it necessary to write the multiple holidays in the cell beside each other?

By weekend option it is not possible as there some fixed week off has given. you can try to add 2nd & 4th Sat separately by adding them in holidays. Hope it work

I used the same formula to find the number of days between two dates..but the result came in the form of mm/dd/yyyy

At 2:41 what's problem in writing 2? It isn't giving same result after writing 2 but excel should give same result considering Sat & Sun. If one of them comes under Sat & Sun, result= actual result -1. If both of them comes under Sat & Sun, result= actual result -2. Isn't it so?

Please use a helper column. 1. In a separate column, please use MONTH function to find the months. 2. Sort using this helper column.

Because networkdays consist holidays on Sat n Sunday if you have one holiday in week then there will be more working days

Hello Anamika. If you didn't understand date vs days, no worry. It's just to know which day of the week a certain date is. For example 10 October 2020. You want to know the day of the week of this date. You can have a look at the calendar & it'll show you that it's Saturday. But it's difficult to look for each date in a long list. That's why he explained how to custom it. But you can also use this formula: =TEXT. For example, in cell A5 you have 10-10-2020. If you type in any cell: =TEXT(A5,"DDDD"), it will show you the day of the week. Similarly, you can use the same formula to show the year or month.
