Probably one of the most nostalgic videos of all time. The care free days when we’d point out roads from our area that were in the music video
A true message with a DOPE delivery and beat........ WATER
This tune just proves the UK was not ready for an artist as talented as you. They didn't deserve you. Bet if you were blonde your career woulda been a different tale. Respect.

One of the few songs that promotes morals! Love the beat as well as the singing and lyrics!
it makes me happy to hear this song, I remember the release in 2002 and I listen to it until now in 2023, 21 years ago

Same. It's the mixed hiphop/R&B/soul tomboyish homegirl who can't really dance but do a cute lil two step thing lol.
Don’t get enough recognition for what she done for the music game.
Hardly ANY positive songs come out anymore. This is fiiiiire
I'm hearing this for the first time in 2018!!! This is some hard lyrics. No wonder I've never heard it. Singing against the bling culture that keeps getting blacks killed? This is a big tune!!! Love you Miss Dynamite. The name suits you.
back in the dayssss.. we love this song and play it all day long over...over...and over... still like it today😍
Her and her brother have always tried to spead a message of awareness and empowerment big up ms dynamite and akala
The swag is so early 2000s. I can’t believe I was 8 when this came out, this was one of my favourite songs at the time along with sweet like chocolate.
This woman is a legend! We need to give her her flowers now.
Classic!!! That was ahead of its time. Lovin ThIs.. “from NOW TIL THE YEAR 3000!!!!”
She saw what was coming in the new generation but no one followed suit so now it’s way beyond violent now, we need an artist to stand up send a message to these youngens and tell them to put the gun/knives down and get an education and make a difference that way.

Agreed. Kano has started to address it a bit in his new album but there's barely anything out there.
I was stationed in friedberg, Germany when this song came out. This brings back so many memories.

This was showing up all the time on one of the music channel and it was boring. Now it sounds well ahead of its time.
I never knew the lyrics were so woke up until now. I like how she spoke about racism and slavery
I remember missy, back in the day, leeds, creations..2002.?. home now, naiirobi... 2020. I miss those days.

2000-2003 The best era in uk music
I remember and love this tune back then. Forgotten how dope it was. Ms Dynamite really create a masterpiece and a masterclass on how music should be done with this and she was quite young then. Incredibly positive and still banging. Awesome Ms Dynamite...we need this type of tunes back.
What a tune. And what a message new music could learn a thing or two off this
This song is absolute gold ! So talented as a writer and performer. Her message is real !
I love listening to this track. I use to get hype to bump it anytime it came on. It takes me back to the few years I lived overseas. Good times. A lot of the youth need to put this on their replay list. A time with a banding w beat & positive lyrics are always a plus.

I've always loved this song and watched it over and over when it played on the music channels back in the day. Catch it half way and flip to another channel to try and catch it from the beginning. I miss those days.
Damn, I haven't heard this tune in ages. I was 9 when this came out and I feel blessed to have grown up in this era. Such a cool tune and Ms. Dynamite was my crush growing up.
