MS Dhoni had to bowl often in tests as our pace attack was injury prone and often ineffective in overseas conditions. This changed under Virat as he focused on making our Pace attack the best in test format, they became much faster, fitter and aggressive, taking wickets more often. Virat wanted to make our test pace attack the best in the world and he did it.

Kohli the Test captain made sure that his wicketkeeper never was forced to take up the ball... He made sure fast bowlers are fit and endurable.

McCullum was a batsman of a different breed. Capable of smashing a century in T20 cricket in no time, and capable of batting on for 450 deliveries, while making a double hundred.
