You are all dishing on the current Mrs World Caroline Jurie only because of that unfortunate dust up last Sunday. And you all compare her to Mrs. Rosy Senanayaka *on* *this* *video* *clip* and say all these nasty things about Caroline Jurie that she not having class etc., as if you are all well-versed in the entire life of both of these women. Do you know everything about Mrs Rosy Senanayaka's life, for example, whether she has ever done anything that she later regretted? No, we don't know. Because for most of us, the everyday people of the public, we don't know these celebrity characters personally. We see and hear only what's in the media and what one sees superficially. This is definitely *NOT* condoning the extremely pathetic behavior of Mrs Caroline Jurie and her accomplice Ms. Chula Kumarapathirana on that stage last Sunday. Their action was despicable. However, if that did not happen, would anyone be comparing Mrs Senanayaka to Ms. Jurie? Those who are interested in these beauty paegent stuff must have been very happy when Ms. Jurie won the title at the end of 2019. Then, those who condemn her today, the very same paegent fans, would have been cheering her win. My point is, in life, a single act of stupidity can destroy a person's reputation, perhaps permanently, for *some* *people*. That just should NOT be used to bash their accomplishments that occurred BEFORE that fateful mistake happened.

I was happy when Caroline won the Mrs world I was proud of her because it was from my country... But I didn't know that She had two sides of her Untill now....Still Caroline is no where to Rosy.... @@angelwings5136 If you think it's only Caroline Jurie who has "two sides" then you seem to be looking at the world with a very narrow point of view. What l wanted to point out is putting down someone even if they committed truly an awful, shameless act, as if ALL the others never do imbecilic acts doesn't serve any purpose. By the way, do you know all the aspects of Mrs. Rosy Senanayake? For example what was her childhood like when her family resided in Embilipitiya or when she was Miss Rosy Ramanayaka and for a very brief period was a student at Ferguson High School, Ratnapura? She must have been an exemplary child, adolescent during those days - I don't know.. Because I *do* *not* *know* the person named Rosy Senanayake, nee Ramanayaka, except for the beautiful face appeared in Anchor commercials that l saw as a child, a very faint memory of a picture in a Ceylon Tea Board calandar where she was serving tea to the foreign dignitaries of the Non-aligned summit conference that was held long ago in our country that an elderly relative of mine had kept with her because she too at that time had somehow admired the then Miss Ramanayaka. I also have seen on media later, the publicly visible portion of her politics. That's all I know. So, I won't rush to say that Rosy Senanayake is the epitome of virtue. Because, I. Don't. Know. We cannot fully know another person unless we are extremely close to that person or one is that person oneself. So, only Mrs. Senanayake knows all her "sides" , and in the same vain, only Ms Caroline Jurie herself knows all the aspects of her character. Still your adoration of Mrs Rosy Senanayake is perfectly alright. All of us are free do admire, adore idolize any public figure including beauty queens, artists etc,. The only issue I find rather odd is by this single, albeit horrible, act why some people jump to conclusions that Caroline is somehow an 'inferior' Mrs. World compared to Mrs. R. S. It's logical to critizise as much as one wants Caroline Jurie's shameful behaviour on the stage last Sunday. But, in my opnion, comparing two people of two different generations who while being crowned in the same title but surrounded by two different environments (1985 and 2019, I think) and circumstances (Mrs R. S' s world title holding period may not have witnessed allegedly divorced contestants in the Mrs World pageant), is rather simplistic.

That was the down fault of Caroline and the women with the saree.. That was an awful thing to do... I guess it was all about jealousy... And at the End the crown was given back to Mrs de Silva...I am not a fan of any one..anything that Represents the country is all that i watch that's it...

@@angelwings5136 It's really a generous heart that would make a response like your last reply. And I offer my sincere respect and thanks to you. I agree completely with your observation that even if there was any unfair, rule - breaking situation, it should all be resolved before the final night. In that regard, I think not only Ms Jurie but the rest of the organizing committee is also at fault for not confirming whether there was any truth to those allegations. Still, just as you said, Caroline Jurie and the other woman (both of whom have no authority to decide who is the winner of the contest) acted in the most shameless way! There are no two ways to that! From the beginning, l agreed with all of you about that point. The two of them did something that brought such shame to our country, and like you've said, it may bring the downfall of Caroline Jurie, because she may be stripped of her World title because of that unbecoming behavior. Sorry for harping the same point, but my only issue was that despite how horrible was her action, Caroline 's winning of the title in *2019* should not be belittled because of some extremely stupid and vulgar behavior she engaged *more* *than* *one* *year* *later*. Her win then and this particular rude behavior on 4 April are two separate issues, in my opinion. Anyway, I will respectfully end my post and responding here. Thank you for your views. We can discuss what we think in forums like this, and we can disagree or agree, giving due consideration to the other person's dignity. You have done that.
