ufffffff...what a beautiful and historical score of mermon Qamar Gul....Mermon Qamar Gul was one and not supposed to come another Qamar Gul in this world....I have listened almost all of her songs...It is presumed that she came to Radio kabul during 1968 but this is not correct...I have listened few of her songs that matches with musical trend and instruments used in 1964-65 like (nan me sta pa sar bande akhasti tohmatoona di) or (Nigara wafadada). Very few vocalists have vocal qualities containing Sur and Soz. I ever found her involved in rendition of a song. She involved in rendition of a song to the extent that we felt her soul was singing..Qamar Gul had the quality to depict old traditions as well as values of 1960s...She was living history but alas no one collected her sayings in the form of a book to preserve for the succeeding generation..May her soul rest in etrnal peace...
