I never tire of listening to Mrs Mills. She is a joy to the ears and always raises my spirits. So sad she was taken from us at such a young age.

Why does this make my eyes fill with tears? I love it, I miss what we have lost, though I know we have gained a lot too. Time never stands still, though my heart doesn't always keep up.

This music is terrific. Not like this modern garbage some people call music. Ragtime is happy and easy to listen to may it long live.

What a mature response! Sadly, I did not have the joy of recording with Mrs. Mills. However, any record shop holds my efforts with, among countless others, Shirley Bassey, Mel Tormé, Rosemary Clooney, The New York Philharmonic Orchestra, The Boston Pops, Julie Andrews, Placido Domingo, John Williams, BBC Radio Orchestra and many more that I can't be bothered to type are widely available, so I do know a "that-should-never-have-got-past-the-producer" duff bass note or two when I hear them...

I think the bass player was drunk - a few wrong notes and a few out-of-tune ones....
