This movie was darling. So charming and wholesome. Simple yet exquisite. There were no explosions, no unnecessary drama or angst; just a wonderful film about a woman following her hopes and dreams with a happy ending. I want more films like this. And of course, top-notch acting from the brilliant Lesley Manville.

After 2020, we all need an uplifting film like this.

My husband and I went to go see this the other day on a wasted rainy afternoon we loved it it was just such a happy movie about people no CGI no major drama just a beautiful story about regular people in such a gorgeous setting that is how I always imagine Paris would be I highly recommend this movie

Just finished the movie! How enchanting. It totally lifted my spirits…I think I smiled through the whole movie! We all need a Mrs. Harris in our life, we all need kindness, and to spread kindness. If this was made years ago… I could see Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant as the characters.

this movie shows the importance of a good person how selfish people need them and how the whole world can't live without them. the eternal optimist energies everyone and when she loses hope the universe comes to the aid to make right and to bring her back to life. She is the motivation of so much she is the driving force of all things she is hope

"Invisible" women... they're the salt of the earth. The world would not be the same without them.

This movie is absolutely enchanting! Lesley Manville is an exceptional actress!! Her ability to completely transform herself in every role blows my mind. This movie took my breath away and in the end I shed a few tears because it was so magical!!! Exceptional.

How many “Invisible women” have dreamed like this? How can this film only be in theatres for a day?! Maybe they’re going to shift to Amazon Prime after. It will do well I’m sure! Smartly written & acted. I teared up on the preview alone & never knew about the book or previous film(s). Just this. Some time with some beauty. Sounds lovely. I’ll be in the lookout. Well done everyone.

Saw this movie yesterday. Such a feel good movie that favors the underdog surrounded by genuinely good people who we would all be fortunate enough to have more of in our lives. For Mrs. Harris I cried happy tears for her. This movie is now in my top ten favorites. Love the cast and the stunning dresses!

Now I want to hop on a plane and fly to Paris to get me a Christian Dior gown. Such a lovely movie. I stayed up late last night watching it. Cried through it but had a happy ending.❤

LOVED THIS MOVIE....when she comes down the stairs in her new Dior..they all stop!! love that!! they should have all applauded ....i think she looked amazing...i would have made it a bigger deal!!

This movie is about being kind, optimistic, having a good heart and intentions. It's about how beautiful life is even for following the smallest of dreams. How it adds a sense of romanticism to the way of living life, no matter who you are and what you do. 🤧It was also so cute and had a nice feeling overall, nothing too heavy.

I just saw the film this evening and watched a Q&A with the director after. They originally thought the demo was going to be older women. But the more it has been seen the wider and wider the demo has grown. It has appealed to women, men, fashionistas, people who love historical films, girls, the LGBTQ+ community (aka, the gays, we love it!). It will really be a word of mouth film. It opens on Friday in 1,000 theaters around the US. It is EXCELLENT and one of the better films I've seen in a LONG time.

Apparently the movie is Rated PG, so it's defintely a fun perfect movie to watch with the whole family

My mother told me this story when I was young , she heard it from radio. I was just a kid … well …dream come true.

Looks like a film we all need at this point in our difficult world!

caught this movie last night, loved it. i make rather crazy outfits for friends and i was raised by my seamstress grandmother who taught me pattern making and sewing. grew up following dior, Laurent , any others. that feeling of falling in love with that dress she saw was perfect.great acting, great movie.

I cried all the way thru this beautiful movie, tears of sadness, tears of happies, tears for such a heartfelt movie 💞 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 💞

Man I wish I saw this on the big screen! Finally watched it on Netflix, and just wow. Beautiful movie, beautifully filmed, beautiful message! I cried so much throughout, maybe because I’ve also been a cleaner I felt her struggles, or it could be the pregnancy hormones 😅 it was a wonderful movie and I highly recommend.

Yep. The costumes for that movie look amazing and sure Oscar-worthy. Just a fact tough, the costume designer for the Mrs. Harris Goes To Paris is credited to Jenny Beavan (as seen on Imdb), the Oscar winner behind other Oscar winning costumes such as A Room With A View, Mad Max: Fury Road, and most recently, Cruella.

I say don’t count out Leslie Mansville for Best Actress too, she’s a previous nominee and she’s in the next season of the crown that’s coming out this year so her name will be fresh.

Why am I so excited about this film? I've only seen the first 57 seconds and I had to stop it so I don't spoil anything for myself. This is at the top of my list now.

Lesley Manville is amazing, looking forward to seeing this 🙂

Paul Gallico's book, which I read when I was a teenager, was such a story of faith and hope and fulfilling one's dreams. I look forward to this new version of that memorable story.

This movie is like a wonderful fairytale, set mostly in Paris, with the addition of beautiful Dior couture fashion of the 1950's, and also romance. I could recommend it as a family film, but I know that it will have wide audience appeal! This one will lift your spirits.

A most beautiful gift to all movie fans who dream. Im a gran and would love to have been her when she saw all the dresses, as I never had a party frock when I was young, and certainly not now I am an aged pensioner. Oh well, it all happens in the movies they say.... the old version is good too, with a different feel, but this is a joy!

Loved this movie so much, I watched it a second time! (My husband enjoyed it too!). It's one of those films that you can watch over and over.

I saw this movie over the summer with my fiance and it was such a magical experience, truly! It was so good that I've decided to cover the original novel by Paul Gallico as part of my content for my English course I'm teaching in an all girl's school. Hopefully I'll be able to pass on the magic of the story to my students as well so further generations can enjoy this timeless story of an ordinary woman who dared to dream!

TALK ABOUT LIFE LESSONS.!!! --- THIS FILM HAD SO M A N Y !!! --- Like she had saved up for a Dior gown . . . I saved up for a world cruise. I took it on SS Canberra and sailed 68,000 miles around the world on an ocean liner. I had to make that dream come true. It taught me many valuable lessons in life. This film reminded me to never give up on a dream. And none of us should ever give up on ours, whatever that might be.
