    Mrs. Doubtfire was one of the movies I enjoyed rewatching as an adult. I get all the jokes and innuendos that went over my head as a child.

She just wanted him to straighten up and be responsible because he had such a long pattern of not supervising his children He heard that and thought “instead of being a father, I’ll lie to my children, screw with their heads, and randomly scream at them during our time together”

    @@PHATB0Y20 Wasn't a nationwide thing back then. Caller ID didn't really exist across the country until around 1995. You can look up old news articles to back this up and even then people rarely used it.

    Apparently that was quite correct, according to several people who worked on set with him, Robin would do his thing between takes to help the crew keep their energy up.

    When you really think about it, its sad that he even felt he had to resort to this tactic. Miranda was deliberately interfering with Daniel’s custody time repeatedly & didn’t seem to care at all. Making them late repeatedly & showing up early demanding they leave now, all without notice or a valid reason, is not okay & if he had a good lawyer this would be shut down

    He just couldn’t resist taking a risk or two in life and acting the ultimate role all in one. But he comes good by the end. The final few scenes are so incredibly moving and the films score is classic 90s music for the silver screen.

    Even when I watched it at the time as a child, I found the whole premise disturbing. I was seeing it from the point of view of the kids and was upset that they were being kept apart from one of their parents just because of something going on between the parents. That seemed really awful to me as a child.

    I get it was for a funny bit that he would get the name from a conveniently placed newspaper but he had a whole script for the details and didn’t put a name lol.     i was in eighth grade when he passed. the day the news came out, it felt like the world had lost its shine. everyone i knew was incredibly heartbroken. really goes to show just how much of a presence he had in all our lives. so many people grew up watching him.

    Honestly, I never expected to love this movie so much as an adult. This came out in 1993 when I was 11 years old, so I enjoyed it on a children's level. Now with 39 and being a dad this hits different. Love this movie and Robin Williams.

    Robin Williams is a absolute legend he stared in some of my childhood tv shows a specially mrs doutfire near the end in the restaurant where he said “oh no I killed the bastard” 😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣 made me laugh big time

    I know a lot of people don't like Miranda, but after watching the movie now as an adult, I can kind of relate to her and see things from her point of view. Doesn't justify some of the things she does, but she's a little more relatable

    "A few light slams" woman sounds rather nice compared to what followed! The range of voices AND accents Robin could pull off was truly second to none. I can think of nobody with a broader vocal range than him. A true talent, much missed.

    I’m pausing the video. Robin’s character is this good, English vocabulary, consistent accent, his wife doesn’t know about this, and he can’t keep his marriage? He can’t write love letters randomly or poems? His Mrs Doubtfire acting is perfect. I mean I know it’s scripted, but imagine being able to pull this off in real life.

    This movie is iconic. I also find it hilarious to read the "i didnt get it til now" comments. For some reason, i didnt have any issues understanding the innuendos and the "marketing" when i was a kid.

    It’s so weird for me to see Miranda use her phone in the car. I’m glad that we’ve realized the dangers of distracted driving, but I still can’t help but feel a little nervous when I see her on the phone while driving 😂😂😂
