Mrs Bob and her Beaver family 2022 , Part 18
It is close to the end of the year, the nights are drawing in and it's getting quite cold. The beavers are spending lots of time making sure their fur is groomed and waterproofed to keep the cold water out. The kits are quite big now, discovering new areas, the 2 year olds already checking out new territories, the time they have to leave their family is getting close.

Thank you! Yes, they are digging small channels to reach foraging grounds in the safety of the water, which is beside dams an important feature to stop flood water as the soil even further away from the rivers edge can absorb more water
