Do you realize there are many Casio G-Shock quartz watches do this? They call it a power saving mode. When they are not moved for a while they stop the hands and when you pick them up they show the correct time. They cost a few hundred dollars. It is not new technology nor is it magic or particularly special.

For me its the Credor hands down, its such a stunning dial and design. I have pined over that piece for years. The Japanese put so much pride and hard work into what they do and you have to respect the passion for elegance and beauty from Credor. If I ever win the lottery I would love to get that and if I can ever find one of the lucky 8 owners of the Fugaku that are willing to part I would add that as well.

I'd go for the Grand Seiko. Understated, streamlined, has the spring drive, and has outstanding fit/finish. Its what I'd want to wear the most of what's in Kevin's collection.

My favorite watch is Michael’s Rolex Celebration dial. It’s the first Rolex I’ve ever tried put on and thought I love it. I would like to have it one day. Kevin is behind a few years. Grand Seiko and Credor are very familiar to watch enthusiast for at least 2 decades. I myself got to know both brands back in 2003. BTW, both need to get a Datograph in their collection specially Kevin.

Its very tough choice but I would pick the credor, absolutely fantastic dial. Best blue dial I have ever seen, including fpj.

This collection is on a level I don't even understand... I don't think people get how freaky this is... This is so out everyone's reach. Even if you are a billionaire you can't do nothing but lust for some of these pieces. Many of them are completely IMpossible to get your hands on. Absolute wild! Just crazy... 5711 is the perfect watch. Can be dressed up and down. Iconic design. Beautiful craftsmanship and amazing bracelet .10/10. That is my dream watch. Would trade many Rolex and omega collection to get that watch

so kevin is talking some real BS. His piece unique AP is in white gold not steel not platinum. The back has the "AU 750" stamps! AP has never made the skeleton 41mm in platinum so I don't think they would offer it.

If i had the luxury of picking from that collection it will have to be the Credor Eichi II but with a dark navy or black strap. Its sleek minimal and not too obnoxious for my taste also the hand craftmanship is insane . Think the reason why people would chose the rolex over the others is A, brand familiarity and B, Its safe cant go wrong with black and white and can pair it with most outfits and occasions.

What an exceptional and informative video! I thank you two for doing this and hope you do another one soon. I am not about bling so this is a very easy choice being the Lange! That watch is beyond beautiful and I looked at their pieces before but just way out of my price range. Thanks again guys!

The effort and attention to detail the Japanese put into some of the products they make for their domestic market are just so far over the top, it’s mind blowing. Just look up how they make a block of ink (for calligraphy), it’s unbelievable.

I honestly would love to take that CREDOR. Absolutely stunning watch. I already get weird looks while walking down NYC with my Tudor BlackBay 58 and people thinking it's a Rolex Submariner. AP, Patek, Rolex etc are wayyy too out there. If I wanted to lowkey flex, Grand Seiko and to a even further extend, Credor is THAT brand. I just picked up a GS SBGY007 and I am in love.

The red part of the Grechen is a countdown indicator. Amazing collection, thanks for sharing!! My favorite is the world timer, but Im a tech guy. That movement is perfect enginering, love it!

As someone that has been waiting for almost 5 years for my Rolex from an AD in Denmark, I really enjoyed watching this video. I like the fact that Kevin said he only asks once, and then waits. Great video.

@24:26 UGH.. Grenchen is the town in wich it is made, the brand is called Nivada, Nivada "from" Grenchen. The first expedition that reached south pole was Roald Amundsen's in 1911 and they carried a Glashutte navigation deck chronometer. Nivada Grenchen was founded in 1826, a decade and a half after the first successful expedition to reach the south pole. There where practically 9 expeditions (including the awesome Shackleton one) before Nivada Grenchen even existed and two of them reached the south pole. The first Nivada Grenchen watch to reach south pole was used in US Operation Deep Freeze in 1955, the 33'th expedition to the south pole. There have been so many watches to reach the south pole befor that, Nivada does not claim that it was the first.. just that it got there in 1955. Mr. Wonderful, please check your sources, this video is full of errors presented as facts :(

My choice is the A. Lange Söhne Odysseus, I love how it takes it's main function, telling time, serious. Great movement also.

I tried on the two other examples in the Katana series at my local Grand Seiko store and absolutely had my mind blown. Honestly if they had that red dial in the store, I would’ve bought on the spot

The white face Daytona stands out among the crowd. 100% Top Notch. For money obviously higher dollar option. White Daytona is simple yet elegant, not trying to be something it’s not, 50 years from now it will still have staying power and will be worn all around the world. Can’t pick just one… I’ve had my eye on the Élégante ever since they released it… but that Grand Seiko! Best value prop indeed! Mr. Wonderful has gotten me interested in the brand, and there’s definitely one in my future, just depends on the size, my big wrists need something substantial

Very interesting to listen to this convo between Michael and Mr Wonderful. A lot of insight and passion. Thank you! The message one can get from this episode is that it is You who decides on what watch to get even if it is 100$. How it makes you feel and the story of why you got it already makes one listen with interest. I have my own little collection, which includes a brand new Rolex GMT M II, but I recently also bought Citizen for 250$ on a rubber strap as my go-to-watch for vacation travel.

The steel white dial Daytona is just so versatile and wearable.. It can go with any style and any color, yet can still make a statement because the colors make the dial pop and the overall face of the watch just feels so crisp and clean. Amazing watch.

the incredible class value and sophistication of an Invicta is lost on these old fruits.

The Daytona is a timeless design.

That Daytona works because it has best contrast of all color combos available in the world. Black, white, red and gloss metal.

To start, I love watercolor paintings. I paint watercolors. So I was drawn the first watch shown the "Credor Enchi II 'Ruri Edition'". The idea of a hand painted watch is just a beautiful thing. But the 1 watch I admirer the most, out of this collection, would be the "A. Lange Söhne Odysseus" This has a very simple clean look to it. I paint my watercolors with a minimalist style. So the simple face cries elegance to me. "A. Lange Söhne Odysseus" is my #1 choice.

Great video gentleman, as always. I could never dream of owning one of those watches but i greatly appreciate the artistry and craftsmanship that goes into making them and i admire them from the side like i would a painting in a museum. But to answer your question, i would take home the Patek Philippe Nautilus. That watch looks stunning every time i see it no matter the attire. I find it to be the perfect watch.

These episodes are wonderful. This maybe their best watch review. When I see a new producer show posted I can’t wait to bolt from my crummy job to my 1 bedroom sh@tty apt and tune into the show and live vicariously through mike and Adam.

I enjoyed this! I expected this video to come off very snobby, but thats coming from someone who cant even fathom the price of some of these pieces yet. Kevin seems a lot more down to earth than i thought. Michael is a ball of fun as always There are some really nices pieces there. I'd go with the titanium FBJ or the first one that was shown

F.P. Journe Elegante for me. I’ve never heard or seen it before but I’m fascinated by the engineering with the quartz movement! And the design with the clear case back 🤌🏻

My watch pick from Kevin's collection would 100% be the rolex gold puzzle watch..its just such a fun piece!

Wonderful Mr. wonderful went and got his wine from boxes for two dollars and put them in bottles and sell them for $300 because he is so wonderful he’s a crook

I think I'd go for the Lange & Söhne or the F.P. Journe Centigraphe. Those are just class!!

As much as i absolutely adore the Rolex Daytona 116500, out of that entire box from Kevin’s collection it would be a really hard choice but if i had to pick just one, it would absolutely be that F.P. Journe Elegante. I have never seen that and i fell in love with it instantly. Gorgeous collection Kevin and you too Michael. Two great people talking watches, my passion.

Meteorite Daytona for me. Gorgeous. Yellow gold has a nice contrast against the white of the meteorite

These watches are incredibly unique and fabulous. I'm more of an IWC and Breitling fanboy. Great video, guys. More watches, more mansions. (From Kevin's collection, I'd pick the watch from A. Lange & Söhne.)
