This is SO good, especially for HS!! There are some not so easy chords in there, and they pulled it off very well. Strong singers, all 4 of them. I Hope they’re all still ‘shopping all these years later!

I was expecting an OK video, but I never expected that these girls would nail it like this. Good work! What an awesome performance!

The thrill of hitting the chords perfectly is indescribable. My gosh, they're having a great time, and their sound is elegant. Pretty doesn't hurt, either!

This was a hugely popular song in its day. The most popular version, the version most people remember, being by the Chordettes in 1954. That year, it was U.S. Billboard #1 Best Seller in Stores, #1 Most Played by Disk Jockeys, and #1 Most Played in Juke Boxes. And this East Lake group did a very fine job with an old classic song.

The Chordettes were natives of Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The group was a favorite of Dick Clark and were invited to be on the first *national* American Bandstand telecast. All members have passed away. 😞

Really excellent. I was a big fan of the Chordettes, but these girls were top notch.

Now this is a group that should definitely be on America's Got Talent'!

"Sweet Adeline" was my dad's grandfather's favorite song, that was why my grandmother's middle name was Adeline.

If you girls aren't already members of Sweet Adelines International you need to find a local chapter and join. I was in SAI for 13 years and sang bass. Our chorus won Regional championship twice while I was in it and then we competed in the International Championships. We were considered a small chorus on that level and the larger choruses tend to win International. But they also have quartet championships and you girls could go on to become the Queens of Barbershop if you competed.

Boy, this brought back memories of all of the years I sang with the Sweet Adelines! The Chord Poppers from Massapequa, NY did a great version of this song back in the 1970’s. Well done ladies! :)

They did a great job. Re. the 0.75 speed - That would have been closer to the slower tempo as sung by the Chordettes in the early '50s. Nice job, girls.
