Well, I'm also proud of their live vocals but actually, they often use pre-recorded partially (such as high falsetto with dancing) or overlap some parts to make sound better enough while dancing.

They use pre recording on parts where it's impossible to sing this fast high or deep, for example a loongg line, or manyy lines in a row for one member

Towards the start of an era, they don’t try to use pre-recorded tracks but towards the end of the era, they do since the artists are really tired after the weeks of promotion And with TXT, they had Blue Hour promotion then halfway, they had the We Lost The Summer promotion, and then their Japanese album promotion so it was quite a lot this era for them, especially when you see that their choreographies, even for a b-side track are difficult. And if you include how they also had to prepare for award shows too around this time, they would have been really tired, and with Soobin’s Music Bank and their extra projects. And this WLTS performance was one of the last (or the last one) so they would have been really tired after their promotion weeks (usually 3 weeks long)

There are lots of tutorials online, but basically, the original audio is pre-recording + live vocals; the pre-recording is removed by using the original song audio

no, clean ver means the artist use pre-record vocal (lipsync) not live vocal (incase u still want to know)

Chertier ikr it sounds so good it seems like lip syncing but it’s not they are actually singing, also I’m not sure if u hear it or not but they stop to take breaths as the choreo is very hard so they stop singing so overall they are awesome bcuz a even a hater just said it sounds like lip syncing 😒😞
