After comparing this episode to the original Grimm Fairytale I finally understood the story. Elves assist hard workers to achieve their goals. The elf following the author used their magic to assist them in completing their novel. Unfortunately, the author lost sight of being himself and became content with accepting being normal instead of being true. The elf showed the author the potential happy future he could’ve had if he remained a hard worker. In the end, he died without achieving anything.

The Impromptu Fantasy of Chopin is on point in this story ! I also loved how they used the Funeral March of Chopin in this one as well!

Sorry. I don't know this one. I only know they were playing the Impromptu Fantasy and the Funeral March of Chopin in this episode. Maybe a composition of Chopin I like how they assigned a different composer for each episode: Mozart for Cinderella, Chopin for the Elves, Beethoven for Bremen, Debussy for the Pied Piper...

I feel like they purposely added red headed characters, to represent the brothers, sister.

Can someone please explain to me what happened in this episode? I’m lost

If i get it, he met the elves (the old lady we see at start because she does the same movement with her hair), she asked him to complete From the Shores of Stupor by giving him examples of how to complete using others manuscripts. But in the end instead of completing he accepted the fate of being normal instead of himself, so she let him see a possible future if he completed the manuscript. In the end he dies like without ever complete anything

Right! Its not just her but Gretel and also the old woman from Little Red Riding hood. My guess is the pied Piper takes to these different stories.

​@@darryljack6612I had this theory that Hansel did used to have a Gretel for a sister, but she died, and being unable to cope with her death, he created a fake Gretel in his head. If my theory is true, do you think it's possible Pied Pier might be the original Gretel, having ascended to an Eldritch existance somehow ? Might explain why she needs/wants hosts to wear her cloak. Because she's a ghost. The question now is, how ?
